Overview & Reviews
After a full redesign last year, the Corolla carries over unchanged for 2004.
- Refined and roomy interior, excellent gas mileage and crash test scores, illustrious reliability record.

By JambaJuiceChris - December 7 - 10:00 amI love my new Corolla! This car was sooooo affordable yet sooo fun to drive. Ever sice I was a child I wanted a Toyota Corolla S! I love this car. Everything is great about this car, not one flaux! The acceleration is good for the class and I love the seat comfort and outward visibility. The car preformed wonderfully on my drive up north. Great car, poor mileage - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By tc - October 28 - 2:03 amPoor mileage, 26211 m / 981 g = 26.72 mpg. Awkward steering wheel, seat, foot pedal geometry. Steering wheel too far forward when seat adjusted properly for leg length, youd have to sit in one to understand, its more than just seat position. Fun to drive, reliable, great fit and finish. 07/08 government mileage ratings should reflect more realistic MPG. Very comfortable, lots of room, adequate power. Really poor factory Goodyear Integrity tires only lasted 25K, new Michelin Pilot replacements much better in snow, rain, cornering & MPG.

love my little car - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By allie - October 7 - 2:00 amcompared to other makes and models, the 2004 corolla s has a lot of standard features you have to pay extra for in other cars. this is a solid little car and well built, love the way it sounds when i close the doors. i get loads of compliments on mine, which is bright white with a black leather interior.

Corolla S Model - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By TSF - October 7 - 2:00 amThe car rides and handles well-adding TRD strut brace did improve cornering stability. The CD player is very good for a factory unit. The interior comfort is amoung the best I have encountered. Dealer was nice to deal with. Braking is solid on this car, but std anti-lock would be nice. Performance is brisk with the std. 1.8L engine, fuel milage was good as well. There is room in the engine compartment for do-it-yourselfers too. Overall, this car is fun to drive and offers a good balance of economy and performance-TRD parts are available for the more performance minded. Would buy again...

Fun to Drive! - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By ccheval - September 7 - 10:00 amMy city driving economy is fantastic, 33.7 on my last tank. The doors fit perfectly, the finish is excellent. This car has more horsepower and torque than the Civic, yet slightly better epa numbers.

Great Ride - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Hood - September 2 - 11:13 pmId still have this car if it wasnt destroyed in a car accident. I had 71k miles and the only thing I had to do was change the battery this past fall which in the grand scheme is minor. The car rode smooth and was the best as far as gas went. Very affordable!

The Bullseye - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By unbiased-a - August 26 - 2:00 amThis is a great car for the beginning family. It accomodates taller individuals well. However, I do find the driving position akward at times. A telescoping steering wheel would solve this problem. If you are looking for a well rounded car with a great reliability recorded stop looking. If your looking for spice and performance go else where.

Great Value - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Danner - August 21 - 3:16 amFun to drive. Very fuel efficient and economical to maintain. Responsive engine for a four cylinder manual. Original equipment tires (Goodyear Integrity) were marginal-replaced with Goodyear Regatta II which have worn well and handled well under all road conditions. Would buy another with no hesitation. The 32-40mpg definately helps with todays gas prices.
