This Year's Model Updates:

A sporty new XRS model debuts boasting a 170-horsepower engine and a sport-tuned suspension. Additionally, all Corollas receive a restyled front fascia and rear taillights. The LE model now has Lexus-like Optitron instrumentation, along with a cloth-trimmed center console and sun visors. Side curtain airbags, stability control and a JBL audio system are all new options.

Pros:
  • Refined and roomy interior, excellent gas mileage and crash test scores, long list of safety features, spunky XRS model, illustrious reliability record.
Cons:
  • Awkward driver-seat position, bland personality, gets pricey when even basic features are desired, sedan body style only.

  • The Best - 2005 Toyota Corolla

My S model has been very reliable. I had over 84,000 miles on it and driven over 35000 miles a year to work. I recently was in a severe car wreck involving 2 18 wheelers and my car got the bad end of the deal. I escape with only bumps and minor injuries due to the excellent construction of the Corolla. The car received major damage, but the drivers compartment was intact. I walked away from the crash and the Corolla was still able to run even with the front end destroyed. This is a great car and I will get another one as I feel very safe with the Corolla.

Ive only had my Corolla for a week now, but I am very impressed. I like that it came with power doors, cruise, cd player and power mirrors, all for an affordable price. One of my good friends drives a manual version and gets more power than I do, but I just cant get myself to enjoy driving a manual. I wish it had a little more power. I like that it comes with the option of overdrive. Of course, it comes with the awesome Toyota history. The passenger airbag on/off depending on the weight on the passenger seat is interesting. Plenty of bang for the buck!

  • Gotta love Toyota - 2005 Toyota Corolla

I love my New White Corolla S. I fell in love the second I walked in the dealership. Only problem is, dealership couldnt give me my keyless entry remote the day I bought it, so I have to wait. Which means the cars security system locks up the ignition and disables the car from starting when I open the door with only the key. The steering wheel also shakes, so I suppose it needs an alignment. However, it is Toyota, its beautiful and I love the car. It is very peppy for only a 4 cylinder and has great pickup.

  • The Best Car Ive EVER Owned! - 2005 Toyota Corolla

I love my Corolla. It has been a joy to own this car. Its roomy, fun, comfortable and very reliable not to mention great on gas! I have two teenagers and we went on vacation shortly after buying it. There was plenty of room for everything. We went to the Smokies and had no problem with the cars performance in the mountains even though it was loaded down and the a/c was on. Id recommend it for anyone.

  • great little car - 2005 Toyota Corolla

I drive 1000 miles a week every week and I bought this car for economy but was pleasently surprised with the S model for the improved exterior and interior. I have a white one and it really stands out. The real value to me was how little it cost to upgrade to the S model. I have 28,000 miles on the 2005 car already and it just purrs right along.

  • 05 Corolla CE - 2005 Toyota Corolla

Great car! Good acceleration and acceptable stereo. Only undesirable interior design factor I have found is driver side right arm rest.Theres not much too it and its kind of awkward to have you arm rest on it. Out of 10, overall, I give the Toyota Corolla CE a 9.5!

  • Love My Little Yoder - 2005 Toyota Corolla

Bought my car before gas prices got ridiculous. Love the gas mileage! Had an ex-girlfriend who never took care of her 99 Corolla and it ran great. I figured mine would last forever if I take care of it. The engine is peppy, but could use a little more power... especially with the AC on. Its a GREAT car for the price. Luxury car ameneties on a compact. Im happy with the accessories (radio, cruise, remote entry, etc.) I am very satisfied with my purchase and glad I chose this car for my first new car. I highly recommend this car.

  • Small Problems with Corolla XRS - 2005 Toyota Corolla

Nice car, but a couple of aggravating problems. Driver seat is manual adjust. For some reason, it is not a perfect fit to the floor; when turning corners, It shifts slightly against the rack it is sitting on and makes a clunking noise. You can feel the seat move as well. Driver side window seems to be a continuing problem. I had a Corolla 99 CE and the window after a while does not stay snug in its frame. Eventually you get wind noise and a window that will not close directly. Overall the car is very good except for the problems I mentioned.

  • Stylish, sporty, & safe - 2005 Toyota Corolla

Ive only had my new 05 Corolla (S model, AT with extra value pkg) for a little over 24 hours now, but Im in love. Its an awesome compact car. Toyota has great reliability history. Its so easy and fun to drive. Gas mileage is great. Ive heard people complain of engine noise, but my car is nice & quiet. The interior is simple, but nice...and user-friendly. As for my cars sporty red exterior, I love it. The Corollas the way to go if youre looking for an all-around great compact sedan. The LE models were very nice, too, but the sporty S fits my taste better as a 22-year-old.

  • Corrolla Good Car - 2005 Toyota Corolla

CorollaS is a good car, the interior is pieced together to cheap as to what you pay for the car. It is a good handling car, nice look improved 100% over the years.
