Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

My best friends sis did the same thing, she got into an accident and got money from insurance...I thought it was weird that she got another corolla...but now i know...hahaha

this is a car you can look good in..... - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By portulaca - May 24 - 10:00 amthis is my 1st new car (my last one was a used Neon), so im VERY happy with the Corolla! it accelerates very well (esp. on a highway, which was an issue when i owned a 92 Tercel), and is VERY spacious inside (can fit 3 people in backseat). my mother has a 98 Corolla (which ive driven), and it doesnt compare--the 04 Corolla is a better car for the $. i consider this car a solid investment--itll probably last the next decade for me!

corolla - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By Jing CHAU - May 22 - 10:00 amCorolla is a very liable car. It is not powerful but saves a lot gasoline. For people dont mind that this car is not powerful, I recommend this car. I have had a corolla for almost 6 years and I only fixed this car only once (excepting changing oils)for power door lock.

Mrs. Destiny! - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Mamasgirl215 - May 21 - 8:56 amLife with my new car (destiny) is great. 2006 Toyota Corolla LE, it drives so great! The gas mileage I have to say is the best, I say, I fill up maybe once every 2 weeks. The tank takes about 11 gallons, so on an average 30.00, on 3.19 a gallon. I love my car, the driving is great, its a dream! I would reccommend Toyota in general to anyone, and its my first new, new car! I love it! Good luck!

Great value - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By dru - May 21 - 4:33 amAfter owning Fords, the comparison to Toyota is dramatic. This is my 4th Toyota. You get a great car for a good price; exceptional value! Old Toyotas are still strong and excellent MPG after 150k and 190k miles. This 2005 Corolla raises the bar for quiet, comfort and quality. You can hardly tell the car is running when its on. These cars are easy to work on. Lots of room to reach any component if you do your own work.

Goes the Distance - 1994 Toyota Corolla
By Toyota4eva - May 20 - 2:03 pmBought my 1994 wagon fresh off the 1st production line in Sept 93 (The last yr made in Japan). I dont drive much and keep it garaged so it still looks & runs the same as day 1!!! Havent done anything but regular maintainance- fluid changes, brake pad, battery, tire & wiper blade replacements- Thats it. I only have 50k miles on it so Ill have to give it to someone when I get tired of it because it wont die in my lifetime. I agree with another viewer that the Matrix is not a viable replacement because its trunk is way too small- but its built with the same frame & engine. Im going for the Prius next. Its hatchback trunk is a decent sz & it sure is sexy compared to the Corolla.

Lots of Value for the Money - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By MusicMan - May 18 - 10:00 amI am enjoying my 04 Corolla LE immensely. It rides smoothly, quietly, and has more than sufficient power to merge and keep up with highway traffic. The 6-speaker AM/FM/CD/Cassette audio system sounds marvelous. I also got ACSO door sill plates, carpeted trunk and floor mats,all-weather package, side air bags, cruise control. $15.5K plus taxes/plates The mileage has been improving. We use the A/C a lot here during the Midwest summers, and in mixed driving my best mileage has been about 34 miles to the gallon. With 4200 miles on the vehicle, I expect that figure to improve in the next few months.

"Lovin My Car" - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Courtney - May 16 - 10:13 amMy car is really great! It was givin to me as a graduation gift from my dad! Its perfect for this time period since gas is extremely pricey. I get 54 miles per gallon. The design of the car is great. Although its a small car they made this new body style high from the ground, spacious, sporty, and unique when compared to other cars in the same price range. My Corolla is great. The trunk space will amaze you. This car also comes with fold down seats in the back which gives you more space or over spill when caring items like pictures and plants. On top of all the things that I have mentioned the Corolla has always been a great car, long lasting, and low maintenance. It will only get better!

great car! - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By ciscobob - May 15 - 2:00 amJust wanted to comment on 2 issues that I have seen mentioned. Driver visor interfering with rear view mirror. At first I was wondering how Toyota could have overlooked this, but after playing with the mirrors articulated mounting adjustment, you will find that It is very easy to readjust so that it is out of the visors way. Brakes slip when completely stopped. I believe that this is due to the AC cycling on and off. It can be a disconcerting experience as it feels like someone has bumped you from behind. I dont have a solution to this one.
