Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • Nice little car - 2005 Toyota Corolla

I love my 2005 Corolla. the only complaint I have is that the front floorboard is not flat. There is a raised area in front of the seat. It makes it uncomfortable to place your feet on the floor. My wife states that since the floor board is not flat all the way acroos it hurts her hip and left foot (passenger side). Bad design. Otherwise the car is wonderful.

  • What I expected!! - 2004 Toyota Corolla

I want my cars to go 10 years or 100,000 miles at least. No problem here. I get 40 mpg often on highway, 5k oil changes, battery, tires, O2 sensors (warr) and filters are only work Ive done at 60k. Car went to FL from CT got 45 mpg for trip, wasnt too comfy, but was reliable. Winter gas mileage goes down to 35 with heat. Awkward drive seat adjustments. Poor OE radio & speakers. OE tires made it 36k. Michi Pilot A/S are SWEET. Open front end differential makes this car less capable in snow than it should be. This is the household 4th Corolla. There will be a fifth in 2015 or so. (Oh yea! No ABS on "S" model? What is that about?!!!)

  • Nice little car with electrical problems - 2003 Toyota Corolla
    By -

This is a great second car - great gas mileage, sporty looks, and comfortably holds four adults. The only problems I have had have been electrical. Within two months of having the car, the daytime running lights would not turn off. I had to return to the dealership three times to finally have it fixed correctly. About a year after having the car, I noticed that when the lights were on and I hit the automatic door locks, the horn would honk. On one occasion while driving with the lights on, I hit a large bump in the road and the horn started honking one solid sound. I had to pull over and turn off the lights to stop the sound. I love this car, but there are some electrical problems.

  • Extremely Fun to Drive - 1999 Toyota Corolla

IÂ’ve had only two problems after two years. One was with the belt tensioner, and the other, some very faint rattles from revving the engine so high all the time. Replaced tensioner myself. I HIGHLY recommend replacing stock tires with P185/65R14 Yokohama Avid Tourings. Stock suspension is inadequately stiff, but fine for average driving. Acceleration is absolutely wonderful. Ive smoked F150s, SUVs, cocky modified Civics and even a Mustang (not GTS). All in all, a very nice car.

  • 2005 Corolla LE Automatica - 2005 Toyota Corolla

I have this car for 2 weeks and it is perfect. I have tested out the highway gas mileage. With the air-conditioning on, I can get 38 mpg. It is much better than my old car. Before I had pumped gas two times a week, now I pump once a week.

  • Great Mileage - 2009 Toyota Corolla

You cannot get a better deal than I did at Capitol Toyota in San Jose ca 2010 corolla le keyless, 15k plus fees, great dealership, Salesman was great. My dealer in madera did not return my call, had to go out of the madera/ Fresno area, no one in the valley would deal except Capitol Toyota

  • My Second Corolla also did not dissapoint - 2006 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I love this car! Its fun to drive and its reliable. I had bought an 02 as my first vehicle brand new, and it did not disappoint on gas mileage and reliability, although I had chosen the CE version cause being so young thats all I could qualify for. The 06 is responsive, corners well, and the transmission is smooth enough for its class. The black paint job is beautiful and waxes well. I love the spoiler, and the trunk space is roomy enough for a lot of stuff if you pack it right.

  • Squeaky rattle car - 2010 Toyota Corolla
    By -

My wife bought this car several weeks ago and we cant get over the multiple rattles that appear to come from multiple places like the dash, a-pillars and sunroof. Also there is a very annoying squeak coming from the rear suspension. We have taken the car twice to the dealership and they have not been able to get rid of the noises. Wish Toyota had a 60 day guarantee because we would take this car back asap.

  • Most Reliable Car ever,, - 2000 Toyota Corolla
    By -

This car sounds and runs like the day i leased it 3/20/00. I have put 65,000 miles on it. Its a dream. Old reliable. Not a whimper, PROBLEM<< daytime running lights use alot of battery and I have to make sure battery is charged. The trunk if even slightly uncentered looks like a sore thumb( very sensitive door there if its off,, your in for a headache..).
