Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • Fun to drive - 2010 Toyota Corolla

I traded in my 99 Nissan Altima SE L and I am very impressed with this car. I compared the Mazda 3, Kia Forte, Hyundai Elantra and even another Altima and the Corolla S won. I got a super deal, much less than the TMV price. I like the interior, which is spacious and well thought out. It rides much nicer than the Altima. The S presents itself quite well and you cant beat the MPG. Add the discounted Extra Value Package and you have a great upgrade. I didnt need anything else. This car is fun to drive, city or highway and you dont feel guilty because the gas mileage is so good. Go ahead and buy this car. You get much more for your money.

  • Steering not impressive, but decent car - 2009 Toyota Corolla

Ive always been fond of Corollas and have driven them in the past. I was disappointed to find, after purchasing this one that these new models dont have the same great handling and steering that Ive experienced in the older models. I find, especially when driving on the freeway that the car wanders and I dont feel likr I have a lot of control. I have to grip the steering wheel more intensely, which doesnt bode well for me since I had hoped to be able to use this car for road trips. Aside from steering, the car has met all of my other expectations. Its highly fuel efficient, has a great new look and size and the interior features are easy to manage.

  • Pure pleasure in small size - 2004 Toyota Corolla

An excellent fun to drive automobile, that just happens to get great gas mileage at the same time. Not the fanciest car but a well made solid, well engineered car. Would most definitely purchase another one.

  • Friends think I bought a Lexus!!! - 2003 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I love my car...took it recently on a long road 900 mile trip and only filled the tank twice! Everyone thinks I it looks like a Lexus or that I paid over 20,000 for it! I love the interior compartments and the look! The ride is smooth - I can go 80 miles without really feeling the ride....I am very happy with my purchase - the price was right also! The dealer was excellent in dealing with.! I would receommned this car to anyone!

  • Very Economical - 2000 Toyota Corolla

I have the 2000 VE corolla with the 4sp automatic and I just wanted to day that its been a wonderful tough car. Drove on deep Canadian snow, hot humid summer days and in heavy thunderstorms and it always got me there. Its been 10 years and 200,000 miles and people say the car specially the interior doesnt look ten years old and it doesnt have the stench that other old cars do. Planning to run it down another 60,000 miles before buying a new corolla. The tranny and engine combo on this car is great and I love the fact that u can disable overdrive, helps u accelerate quickly on highway and when your done turn it back on and u can cruise quietly at 60mph. This Cars ride is really soft too.

  • Excellent CAR - 2006 Toyota Corolla

This car is great. It is great on the outside and ok on the inside... I wanted one with moonroof, but they are not available as easily as last year because of the gas prices. The mileage is great, and although it is not a sporty car you can count on its reliability.

  • No complaints yet - 2007 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I have been happy with the S model. I am used to high comfort and performance so I was apprehensive about getting a small car like this. After test driving many cars, this one was comfortable, fun and had a good reputation. Also, I like the great gas mileage. In almost two years I have had no problems and no complaints.

  • Amazing car-economical and stylish - 2003 Toyota Corolla

This is my first new car. I have owned it for 3 years and I really liked it. No mechanical problems to speak of and it is very economical from insurance standpoint as well as gas mileage. I highly recommend this car.

  • A Poor Mans Lexus - 2003 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I was skeptical when my friend told me to log on-line to see it, cause of the old body style, but I have to admit, it looks PHAT! I immediatly sold my old car and picked up one of these bad boys at the Toyota dealership. I didnt get the sunroof, but got all the other options. It drives great and looks like a Lexus IS300!! Installed a TV/DVD in the car and Im set for the road. Drives great!

  • Great Experience So Far - 2003 Toyota Corolla
    By -

Well, I was deciding between an 02 Civic, 03 Corolla. I preferred the aesthetic look of the Corolla over the Civic. Also, in the research I had done, I would have paid the same or more for the Civic. I was able to negiotiate ~$700 off the MSRP for the CE model. The car drives great and I feel has more than ample acceleration for a car in its class. Manual transimission shifts very smoothly. Braking (I dont have ABS) and steering are very responsive. Im getting 32 miles per gallon. Im very happy with the car and if the quality is as good as Toyotas reputation, then I will be very happy.
