Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

2009 Corolla - First Glance - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Wiscane - November 5 - 6:26 amI have had my LE for approx 3 weeks. I wanted to give everyone a first impression. The car is great! First/second tank of gas 31 MPG mix driving. No big road trips yet. The car is tight. The power steering is not as bad as you may have read. The car finish is great. Great car.

Tall people beware - 2011 Toyota Corolla
By nfinityman - November 4 - 1:19 amLike many other reviewers I spent quite a bit of time test driving the many competitors on the market today. I started my search by reading through the Consumers Digest car review edition that came out in February. Based on these results I concentrated on the Hyundai Elantra, the Ford Focus 2012 edition, and the Mazda 3 Touring. I ended up choosing the Toyota Corolla because it had all the features I was looking for at the right price. The interior was larger than the others with more space for backseat passengers and the actual fuel economy held up when compared to both the Elantra and Focus despite their 40 mpg claims. The ride is smooth and quiet, I just wish it had more power.

Smooth and dependable. - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Rob F - November 3 - 7:13 pmNever had a beef w/ Toyota. This truly is a baby-lexus. Fully loaded, Its a higher price compared to competitors, but worth every penny. My only regret is not opting for manual trans.

TRD Supercharged XRS - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By TRDSupercharged XRS - November 3 - 10:16 amI bought the Corolla XRS and as a birthday present my father had it supercharged it for me at the factory($3,190, the same TRD supercharger available for the tC). I now put out 206 hp and 171 lb.-ft of torque. With the supercharger I now get about 22 to 24 mpg city and close to 34 mpg highway. I also love the shift feel of the five-speed gear box, very smooth. In gloss black my Toyota XRS with tinted windows, interior LED light enhancements and awesomely crisp JBL sound system the car has proven fun and stylish.

I couldnt ask anymore of a car. - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By L.Roy - November 1 - 12:36 pmThis is my first Toyota and I have to ask myself why it took so long for me to buy one. Ive owned just about every other car make on the planet at one time or another. At one time I even owned a Fiat. But this Toyota has a jewel box build quality about it. Its large enough to be comfortable. It has a large trunk. It rides quiet and smooth. And it gets great gas mileage. Im averaging over 35 mpg. Ive had no problems with the car and after reading other reviews I dont expect any. Another benefit is the resale value. This is a great car and I highly recommend it.

By carmature - November 1 - 8:13 amI have this car for about a week now and I love it. Very conservative with gas usage. Simply chic is what I call it!... Nothing too fussy... gets you there from A to B in a comfortable way. Very affordable.

Very Reliable - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By stacyaol - October 31 - 10:00 amI have 35,000 miles on my car and have yet to do any work on it, save oil changes. I expect to go close to 100,000 before any major engine service is necessary. Definitely recommend for people on a budget.

great car - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By happy rolla owner - October 31 - 10:00 amIve had this car for a little over two months, and I have to say that it has been a pleasure driving it. The engine feels quite peppy with the 5- speed manual, the ride is quiet compared to a civic, and the cabin feels quite roomy.

The Best Vehicle of 2004 - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Candice Leatherberry - October 31 - 10:00 amMy experience with the 2004 Toyora Corolla LE has been wonderful. The first day I got it I drove 255 miles to the beach and I adjusted to the car really well. It is very easy to drive and you learn how the car works very easily. I also feel very comfortable in the car especially since I am six feet tall. I have more that enough room and so do my passengers. The car is also fun to drive and it gives an amazing amount of power and has the best gas millage I have reciently seen.
