Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Toyota Corolla LE - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Toyota Corolla LE - November 30 - 5:36 pmI trading in my 2007 Prius for the Corolla and already the ride, solidity and finish is as good as it gets for a vehicle at this price range. I find the clock is much better being more at eye level than over to one side. I dont understand why owners complain about it. It keeps your eye on the road. Truly a pleasurable driving experience. The automatic lights are great if you forget to turn them off.Only complaint is not having intermittent wipers. Overall, the best ever!!

Good Vehicle for the Money - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By RBGreen - November 25 - 3:30 pmFirst new vehicle we have purchased for a number of years, so we were looking for a great value. I have owned Toyotas in the past and have been impressed with their reliability. We compared this car against the Honda Civic and Mazda 3. We liked the Mazda the best based on design, look and finish, but decided it wasnt worth the extra $2-3K. Honda was overpriced as well. Overall we are satisfied except I hope the gas mileage improves with age. We have been getting mid-20s on a mix of urban/rural commuting and the best so far was 32 mpg on an all interstate highway trip. Driver comfort is not great on long trips. Steering wheel is too far away when you adjust the seat for proper leg room

Just a great value.... - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By brt714 - November 25 - 10:00 amI just bought a 2005 Corolla LE after driving a 1992 Nissan pickup for almost 200,000 miles. I ran the Nissan as long as I could and have to admit it was the best vehicle I have ever owned. The only part I replaced on it was the starter. Not bad for almost 200,000 miles. The Corolla LE is very smooth and confortable and as all Japanese cars, is very solid and well- built. I was looking at Camrys, but with gas prices in the scary range I went with something a little more fuel- efficient and something with a lower monthly payment. I was showing it to a coworker and she thought it was a Camry

By evdawg22 - November 25 - 7:36 amI have the S type and with the peppy engine and all new body design I think this car is a bargain. I wish had known about the XRS before I bought the S.

My Corolla S - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Kelly - November 20 - 2:33 pmI have enjoyed every minute of owning my Corolla. The car is very reliable and even made out well when I took it on vacation for a week in the mountains where the roads were extremely icy. The interior has a lot of space, so even men enjoy driving it.

New Car - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By Laur1pc - November 20 - 9:20 amThis is my first brand new car, and I love it. I drive in Georgia traffic five days a week so I needed something fuel efficient and this is it. There is nothing fancy about the car, but it drives well and is comfortable so I happy with it!

Old Rolls. - 2002 Toyota Corolla
By jayqohardd - November 18 - 11:11 pmWhen receiving this car as a gift at 16 years old from my mother I had never been so excited! Ever since then I have drove the car & I am now 21, & the car will be with me until it wont run anymore. From my first accident to the second one, to forgetting to change the oil, to a deer or three, to the three original hubcaps that are left, my corolla has never ever let me down. I have ran on empty far too many times than imaginable, and have never once ran out of gas. Dependable when I definitely need her to be. She is so reliable that we have named her "Old Rolls." because no matter the situation she rolls through anything. (corny I realize.)
