Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • sweet car - 2005 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I used to drive an eclipse gs, then got an 05 S because I was looking for something more roomy and reliable. Couldnt have asked for anything better. I think this car is fun to drive too. Had a slight issue with the charcoal canister (gas something), a fluke thing I guess. This car rides so smooth, especially on the highway. So much room and I think its really comfy. Insane how great it is on gas. Def recommend this car.

This has been an overall excellent vehicle. I bought the car new and have put 46,000 miles on it with not a single hiccup. Ive never had any issues with rattling or road noise or even recalls and other strange mishaps as others have mentioned. Although this vehicle has been properly maintained by me and not the dealer. My original breaks even still have life left to them and tire wear is uniform. Im 511" and it fits me perfectly, although my only complaint is that the seats are horribly uncomfortable and collect so much static and lint that I gave up trying to keep up. Although fabric softener helps with the static.

  • great gas mileage - 2010 Toyota Corolla
    By -

Have 14,000 trouble free miles and never, repeat never got less than 35 mpg. Im 59 and retired so I may look at things a little different , but have owned some 40 cars in my life and this one is a good one. Drove the others in its class and this was tops. They hold their value ( check out Ebay and craigs list) are reliable and easy to go 200,000 miles with. Hard to find a low mileage one for sale. If its value for your dollar this is it.

  • Questioning Purchase - 2009 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I traded in my 2007 Prius on this sporty Corolla thinking it would be fun to drive and economic as my 1994 Mazda Protege was. I am very disappointed in the interior comfort as well as the manual transmission.

  • Awful Quality and Rattling - 2009 Toyota Corolla
    By -

Rattling comes from the dashboard, seat belt housing, and back panel! Extremely annoying! Toyota Corp. Representative said that this is a normal operation in Corolla even this is not a base model trim! Despaired by Toyota!

  • The Time of My Life - 2003 Toyota Corolla
    By -

Being in the automotive finance industry, I was faced with many options. When I decided to look for a car, I was looking at several factors. Price, options and reliability. The Toyota Corolla met all 3 criteria and had so much more. With 3 models to choose from, they offered something for the student on a budget, the sports car enthusiast, and the person looking for a nice luxurious feel. Comparing the Corolla to other vehicles in the same category, it offered more standard features and even bested them in some areas. The Corolla offers more trunk space, better mileage, and much more. This is a purchase you wonÂ’t regret.

  • Poor Paint Quality :( - 2003 Toyota Corolla
    By -

Buyers beware. Paint quality on white cars is extremely poor. Paint is so thin and sealed poorly that it actually stains even though waxed! Chips way to easily. It scares me to think what this car will look like in a year. I cannot talk to other colors but I can assure you that you will have paint problems within months of buying a white Corolla.

  • Toyota goes cheap while others pony up! - 2010 Toyota Corolla
    By -

Ive owned several vehicles over the past 10 years, including several Toyota trucks, but this was the first Toyota car Ive purchased for myself. My sister has a 2007 (9th generation) and its fit and finish and build quality and materials are lightyears ahead of the current 10th generation. Toyota seems to have traveled back in time with the 10th generation! Not only are the interior plastics cheap and not soft-to-the-touch, they scratch VERY easily. The dash, doors, center console, and key area are scratched like crazy after 24k miles, even with due care not to scratch them! If it werent for the poor, cheap interior quality, I would probably have liked this car a little better.

  • 2012 Corolla - 2012 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I have had my corolla for a little over a week. I love it. the bluetooth feature is nice for connecting phones and ipods. the USB port is nice for charging the aforementioned electronics. The ride is fairly smooth. Im coming from an SUV so its taking some getting used to. This is my first Toyota and I am hoping to have it for years to come. the dash is a bit dated compared to everything else that is out with that being said it isnt hard to use. It isnt over done with buttons. the interior on the sport is beautiful ( if you like black interior which i love)

  • Nice Car, Great Price - 2010 Toyota Corolla
    By -

Just went and picked out my car today after searching and getting the price right. I love my Corolla. I got the Corolla S model for 16400. with 3 years of oil changes included Great Price considering the window sticker was 20900. I have test drove everything that is comparable and hands down the Corolla sport is well worth the money.
