Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Trouble free and economical - 1999 Toyota Corolla
By bontempinc - February 10 - 2:00 amMy 98 Corolla was a wonderful buy. 32 mpg in town and 41 highway. I could drive it for 9 hours without tiring. Changed the oil every 3000 miles and that was it.

BEST LOOKING COROLLA!!!! - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By ANNA - February 9 - 6:20 amTHE 2003 COROLLA TYPE-S HAS A GREAT NEW LOOK!! MY MOTHER HAS A 2000 COROLLA...DOESNT COMPARE AT ALL! THE NEW 2003 HAS MUCH MORE SPACE, SEEMS TO BE BUILT STRONGER (I FEEL MUCH MORE SAFER IN MY CAR THAN MY MOTHERS) AND THE SEATS ARE HIGHER AND A LOT MORE COMFORTABLE..NOT TO MENTION THE NICE SPORTY LOOK IT NOW HAS. I USED TO OWN THE 2000 ECHO AND I REALLY LIKED THE FUEL ECONOMY AND WAS HOPING THE COROLLA WOULD BE THE SAME.....SO FAR IT HAS BEEN!!

Expensive little car for what you get - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Tim - February 7 - 12:26 amI have owned this car for 11 months & have had no engine reliability issues. I began having problems with the moonroof sliding shade at only 5000 miles. It would rattle all the time! It took 2 trips to the dealer & a whole new sunshade to fix it. A month later the moonroof began grinding when tilting it up so that also had to be repaired. Moonroof aside, I really enjoy this car. Decent gas mileage, incredibly reliable, & good looking. It has the look of a more upscale car from the outside & the interior is simple yet sophisticated.

Love this car!! - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By MBDawgs - February 5 - 10:00 amMy corolla has been the best car for my needs. Im headed into my second year of college and it has enough room to move most of my stuff around in and is small enough to fit into tiny parking spots. The trunk room is incredible on such a small car. The backseat is on the small side, but Ive never had complaints from my passengers! Its the perfect college car!

Affordable and Stylish! - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Dbrown1085 - February 5 - 10:00 amMy very first car was a Toyota Corolla 24 years ago. After owning several cars during that time span, it was not difficult to return to the Toyota Corolla. Having access to the internet made my research much easier to determine which new car I would select. I wanted something that was affordable, yet stylish and a car that would turn heads at the same time. I compared my other choices side by side with the Corolla and by process of elimination, my obvious choice was the 2003 Toyota Corolla LE. I strongly believe that my decision to purchase my Toyota Corolla was a wise one.
