Overview & Reviews
A sporty new XRS model debuts boasting a 170-horsepower engine and a sport-tuned suspension. Additionally, all Corollas receive a restyled front fascia and rear taillights. The LE model now has Lexus-like Optitron instrumentation, along with a cloth-trimmed center console and sun visors. Side curtain airbags, stability control and a JBL audio system are all new options.
- Refined and roomy interior, excellent gas mileage and crash test scores, long list of safety features, spunky XRS model, illustrious reliability record.
- Awkward driver-seat position, bland personality, gets pricey when even basic features are desired, sedan body style only.

Corolla got it goin on - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Kris - October 26 - 4:43 pmNice Ride...i think its a great car to invest in knowing that reaching 100,000 miles is no prob. Fuel is great..comfortable ride, just a work of art. The only downside to the car is that the steering wheel is hard to adjust to the drivers seat..and there is a huge blind spot in the back. But other than that the car itself is great and has a lot to offer.

Best car Ive ever owned! - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Dusty Jarhead - October 16 - 9:43 pmIve had this car over four years and its been 100% reliable, best handling car Ive driven, great performance, and the seat gives my fairly seriously messed-up spine the best support Ive found in a car seat. Mileage is very good - the only vehicle Ive owned that used less gas was a Suzuki/Chevy Swift/Sprint. Id buy this again without hesitation and have recommended the model to other folks since I got mine.

I love this car!!! - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By asrebnack - September 26 - 10:00 amI just got this car and I absoultely love it! It is so cute and so fun to drive! I did have a 2001 Alero which was a lemon. I am much more relieved to be in a Toyota. These babies run forever. I get so many compliments and am so glad that I chose this car!

Great Car - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By travmd - September 20 - 10:00 amBought the car in June 2004. After researching and test driving many cars in its class I choose the toyota. Ive had the car for several months now and I love it. Ive had NO problems at all, gas mileage has been 38 highway (with air conditioning on) and 30 in the city (also with air on). Its very comfortable, has plenty of head room and a HUGE trunk for its size. The car has enough power for acceleration onto interstates, although its obvious its not a sports car...but then again its not suppose to be. The ride is very smooth with only a little engine noise. The best part about the car is that...its a Toyota so it will last a long time!

I love my Corolla - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Thebearluvr - September 19 - 7:43 amThis is my second Corolla and it is proving to be just as reliable as the last one. Drove my last one for 11 years and had zero problems with it. The 05 Corolla is just as reliable. Its comfortable to drive, handles well in all types of weather and looks good. A very good value for the dollar.

Exceptional Value - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By ROGER A YOUNG - September 3 - 7:03 pmI traded in my 02 Civic EX for my 05 Corolla and have not been disappointed! I have more car for the same price and with no problems that I had with my Civic. Dealer service for regular maintenance has been very good as well. I got more car versus the Civic for the same price! I plan on keeping my Corolla for many years.

Kathys Review - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By 2005 Corolla - August 22 - 5:03 pmOverall, I am very pleased with my purchase of the 2005 Corolla LE. The body style is very attractive and the handeling is very responsive and enjoyable to drive. I had a problem with the front fog light fillers. They both fell out and had to be replaced. I also found the front bumper, near the undercarriage cracked. I did not hit anything and was not pleased with the quality of the design. The dealership replaced the front fillers. I was pleased with the dealership, they handled the problem well. I feel that the design should have been better. The bumper should be more sturdy than it is. Other that that, I love my new car. It is peppy, smooth, handles good, and good looking.

I wish I knew about this car earlier - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By kevin - August 14 - 10:13 pmI used to have a business and efficiency was not an issue. I had a BMW and I also owned a Ford Sport trac. In 2002 my business went bankrupt and I had almost no money. I bought a 1993 toyota tercel. That car cost me nothing for repairs and it would run and run. I promised myself to stick with Toyota forever because it saved my life. I bought a Corolla in 2006. Its perfect. It runs like a swiss watch. Never been to a repair shop. Never has a problem. Its 100% reliable. And this car makes you money if you work fo a company because the gas mileage is excellent.

Absolutely love it - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Ashley - July 10 - 1:46 pmI had a Mustang before my Corolla and always felt so unsafe driving it. With my Corolla, I feel SO safe. It is an excellent car and I hope to keep it for as long as it will run for.
