Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

When I say Luxury, I mean Affordable. The car looks like a million bucks, yet costs around 16k. I love it, and Im a college student. Im only averaging 30 miles to the gallon, wish it was better. Much better buy than the Echo, which seems impossible to find anywhere. I love the wood trim, wish that xmradio was installed from the factory, but it was much cheaper, im sure to install it myself. The cabin gets some wind noise on the expressway but Ive been in many worse cars. I tell you what, this 05 corolla has made me a Toyota buyer for life. Vehicles are the worst investment you can make, but Toyota helps you minimise that by great quality, and keeping its value much longer.Buy it.

this is the best car ever. i got it at 80000 miles and now has over 100000 miles and no problems. am the 2nd owner. when i got it i had to learn to drive manual. so you now what a clutch goes through when someone uses it for the first time. and till this day it been the same clutch since it was made and its still good and soothe. great on gas i got around 36 city and 45 highway normal driving. no engine problems just great. if you want a car that gets great gas mileage, will drive past 300000 miles cheap and just pure reliable get this corolla but only a manual one. the autos are great but i believe they wont last as long . and the manual will get better mpg.

It is an economical car. It rides smoothly. There is not enough leg room in front or back!! The seats get uncomfortable on long drives. Could be slightly wider and longer!

I have had this car for a little over 4 years. I bought it when it had just over 50k miles on it. Now, it has almost 120k miles. I plan on running it for another 100 or 200k. Its a good little car and will probably be around for my kids to drive when they are old enough in another 16 years. My only issues with it are its not very roomy, Im 68" and dont fit very well, but I fit in here as well as I do in most cars, even bigger cars. The drivers side handle has broken, the ceiling fabric has developed a rip in the rear by the rear window from the drivers side windows being open. The drivers inside handle is broken and the window doesnt roll up. I only get just over 30 mpg. It was 36.

I have had my Corolla XRS for just over a month and about 1,700 miles. I am very happy with it. If I had known it requires 91 octane before buying, I probably would not have bought it. The shifting took a little getting used to. And the fact that you have to run the engine over 6000 RPM for the real performance to show seems is probably wasted on me, because I rarely race the engine to those extremes. Mine is black and I had the windows tinted with a nice black onyx tint. I think it looks great, very sporty, especially for a Corolla. I have already had to hit the brakes due to a oblivious driver and was happy with my ability to stop. Good braking was a high priority for me.

After test driving most of the other competing Japanese cars I decided to settle for Corolla LE considering the Quality, Economy, Resale value, Technology & the Design. Last but not the least the price which you pay to get all the above factors matching nearer to your satisfaction.
