Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

wonderful car - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By krausaj - August 19 - 2:00 amI bought this car from a relative in 2001. She (the car) never gave me a problem. I loved the turning radius, the power she had (when empty), the blue/green color, and the great looking trunk. This car was so faithful that even when I left the interior lights on all night I didnt have a problem starting. She was small enough to park in tight spots, and large enough to take on trips. She got around 33 mpg. The radio was awesome and I liked the temperature gage. She didnt even show dirt too badly. I loved my car and would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Not impressed! - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By Ibrahim - August 19 - 2:00 amThe Corolla S sport dissapoint any driver. It had a great potential to become the leader in its class, unfortunaly Toyota are very tradional when coming to introducing a small popular sport car.

I wish I knew about this car earlier - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By kevin - August 14 - 10:13 pmI used to have a business and efficiency was not an issue. I had a BMW and I also owned a Ford Sport trac. In 2002 my business went bankrupt and I had almost no money. I bought a 1993 toyota tercel. That car cost me nothing for repairs and it would run and run. I promised myself to stick with Toyota forever because it saved my life. I bought a Corolla in 2006. Its perfect. It runs like a swiss watch. Never been to a repair shop. Never has a problem. Its 100% reliable. And this car makes you money if you work fo a company because the gas mileage is excellent.

I love my Javier! ;) - 2013 Toyota Corolla
By mrsneal - August 14 - 2:17 amI absolutely love my Corolla! I loved the warranty options offered by ToyotaCare, and I generally couldnt be happier with my dealership and that entire process. There are very few negative things I can even say about this car. The gas mileage is great, I average 32.2 around town! When it comes down to it, hes not a luxury sedan, and there arent umpteen million bells and whistles, but hes fun, sporty, and an all around an awesome car if youre not a nit-picker. More electronic garbage is more to possibly malfunction, I dont need it. (Even saying this, my 92 Celicas electronics all function perfectly, so I really wasnt concerned in Toyotas functionality, other brand owners, beware!)

Love My Car - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By annie86004 - August 13 - 3:16 amI have been pleasantly surprised with the comfort of this car. The drivers seat curves nicely around me to provide support for my back. I havent had it long enough to know just what sort of mileage I get yet, but Im impressed so far - Ive gone about 100 miles and only used 1/4 tank. In my other car, which I traded in, I would have used 1/2 tank by that time.

Great Car - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Saladin - August 12 - 12:33 pmI was debating between this corolla, a new Si or a used Nissan Sentra, and I went with the Corolla. I am very happy with my choice. I hated the style of the Civic Si. The car runs very smooth with no problems, and despite what many say, I have had no problems with the steering. The MPG is great. Its a fun little car to drive, great turn angle and super-easy to control. If you are into racing, you wont be beating v6 cars of course, but when youre up against another v4 consumer car, you will most likely come out as the winner thanks to the great engineering of this car.

My thoughts about the Corolla - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By Jose - August 6 - 7:33 pmGas mileage is great. Small size for easy city/tight spot parking, yet spacious inside. Has a luxurious feeling to it inside. I got the LE fully equipped: ABS, EBD, curtain airbags for rear, cruise control. Acceleration is a bit disappointing on highway, but once cruise speed is attained has no problem reaching 90 mph, and sounds and feels quite smooth.
