Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

My spankin new Toyota - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By ame - October 23 - 7:36 pmI just got my car yesterday! It is fun to drive. I fit perfectly at 51" my husband is 63" he is a snug fit (driver), but he felt it would work. The back seat is roomy and lots of head room. It handles well with good acceleration, though the pedal is a bit touchy. We would have liked to get the back seat air bags, but could not find them. Car sets higher than my chevy car-lumina, so it is easy to get in and out of. Overall, good smaller car.

trusty old friend - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By pedro - October 22 - 12:16 amI have driven over 280,000 miles in mostly urban traffic with some expressway also. This car is not a good long distance hauler due to its 3 speed tranny. I should have spent extra and gotten the 4 speed. Thank god they dont make those anymore. Its an excellent around town car even with all the miles I still get about 28mpg which is what the EPA says I should get. Mechanically very reliable, although lately I replaced the mounts with aftermarket units and I ruined the car. It now shakes and vibrates to the point of being intolerable to all but the shortest trips.

THE CAR GETS GREAT GAS MILAGE, HAS A COMFORTABLE, QUIET RIDE AND MY WIFE AND I LOVE THE NEW STYLING. FROM THE TIME THE 2003 COROLLA CAME OUT I WANTED ONE, SO IN AUGUST 2002 I BOUGHT ONE AND I DONT REGRET IT AT ALL.

Best car Ive ever owned! - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Dusty Jarhead - October 16 - 9:43 pmIve had this car over four years and its been 100% reliable, best handling car Ive driven, great performance, and the seat gives my fairly seriously messed-up spine the best support Ive found in a car seat. Mileage is very good - the only vehicle Ive owned that used less gas was a Suzuki/Chevy Swift/Sprint. Id buy this again without hesitation and have recommended the model to other folks since I got mine.

Gas miser - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By the ole man - October 8 - 9:26 pmHad an 08 and put 27000 on it, but the 09 is so much better. We just got back from a trip down to SC. and I averaged 39 mpg @ 65 to 70 mph. I am tall and had no complaints about comfort. I even like the electric steering now that I am used to it. The one thing I do not like about it is the special tool I need to remove the oil filter for doing my own oil changes.

Not that great cheaply made interior - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By allura - October 7 - 10:33 amI purchased this car almost a year ago, put on 3000 miles and did not enjoy driving this car at all. I just traded this car in for a prius (which I love driving). The interior is cheaply made, plastic, the seats were not comfortable. I would not purchase another corolla, the gas mileage was not close to what the invoice stated, paint was not that good, started to chip. I would not recommend this vehicle at all

My Corolla - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By Glenny - October 7 - 2:00 amThe LE Toyota Corolla is a good and reliable vehicle. There is ample trunk room, but the back seat is too small. The engine starts up immediately in cold weather. The steering is adequate and the vehicle is responsive. The ride is smooth and relatively qu
