Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Great affordable, reliable, commuter car. - 2013 Toyota Corolla
By kt1204 - November 15 - 3:07 pmBought the 2013 Corolla S. Ill admit, its not a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. If you want that, pay the extra $$$. But, it doesnt claim to be a strong, powerful, luxury sedan. Its a reliable, affordable, sedan that will last for years and years. Perfect commuter for long drives, plenty of power for me.....unless you plan on driving 90 mph +, which I dont. Great gas mileage and this car will continue to pay for itself long after its time due to how reliable it is. I was surprised that it even came with a "touch screen" sound system for a basic Toyota sedan. Enjoy the gas mileage and buy a luxury car if thats what you want.

Relaiable and rich toyota heritage - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By CorollaS - November 14 - 11:20 pmCorolla s 2009, sporty look, comfortable, nice to drive, reliable, safe, great mileage, many features and largest car of its class. What else is missing - yes you may find it a little lower on the pick up but after all its v4. We cannot compare it with v6/v8. But anyway driving on more than 85 you will not realize a noise or vibration but be careful on steering. Civic also is good car but is smaller than this one and corolla s looks more sporty than civic. Its just 2nd week of purchase and did put more than 1000 mile just love this car for its look, reliability and space. Its like a little Camry and is very similar to Lexus people say so.

Great car! - 1999 Toyota Corolla
By lauree - November 14 - 10:00 amThis is my second Corolla, and wouldnt buy anything but a Toyota. These cars are extremely reliable. With just under 100000 miles, Ive only had to change my starter, and that was a few months ago.

It Cant Be a Corolla; It Is!! - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By Misty Jewel - November 12 - 10:00 amThis car caught my attention right away on the lot(it was already sold). The styling is great and it took me a while to believe it was a corolla. I did my research and it is definantly a better buy than civic. They are incredibly hard to get though. I waited a month to have one built because there were none available in the southwest. I got my corolla in the color moonshadow and it looks great. Lots of headroom and leg room is great for tall people. Great gas mileage and quality.

Full Throttle - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Yarrrr! - November 7 - 2:46 amFlawless car. Any time I think I hear a noise or think the car has changed in some way, its just me. It is amazing. Mine gets 39mpg on the highway (manual) and gets around 30 in town. Its great fun to wind it out once in a while through the gears. Absolutely amazing quality and efficiency. I love it!

Economical Fun to drive - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Jason - November 5 - 5:43 amGreat car for the money, bought as a commuter car. Joy to drive. More room than I thought it would have. Large trunk. Nice lay out. Really good handling. Good build quality. Nice fit and finish. Over all good quality for the price.

High maintenance - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Stephanie - November 4 - 4:00 pmI purchased this car new. I have had the oil changed every 5,000 miles and it sits in my garage when not being driven. At 34,000 miles the car started making a screeching sound like a belt was bad and it began shifting roughly. The dealer said I needed the transmission fluid changed and a new belt. $312.00 later my car seems to be ok. I have had a Ford and Pontiac in the past and never had to make these types of services until 100,000. I am disappointed with this car and feel that the quality that Toyota is known for is slipping. Will never buy another Corolla.

My first new car - 2002 Toyota Corolla
By amyseit - November 1 - 5:43 amSince this is my first new car, I spend a lot of time checking out different types of cars for the best value. I was torn between the Corolla LE and the Hyundai Elantra. Both cars had the features I was looking for but the Corolla drove much smoother. The Corolla did not have the cheap looking interior like the Elantra and it has better gas mileage per gallon too. I love my Corolla and would suggest it to anyone looking for a new car.

simply amazing - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Mike - October 28 - 9:20 pmThis was my very first purchase of a Toyota vehicle and I am simply amazed...by everything from the friendly and cooperative salesmen to the overall quality and value of this car. I was so impressed with this vehicle I actually found myself trying to find something not to like. I Thought to myself well this car cant be that good, can it? Well that is just nutty. This is the perfect car for me, in fact I look at it as a gift. I know that may sound a little strange or perhaps sappy but that is exactly how I feel, like it or not. Assuming Toyota continues with this level of quality and affordability, I will be a customer for life.
