Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Fun Car - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By phibcb - January 21 - 11:06 amWe saw the reviews for the car and desided to take a test drive. We were hooked, we love the Toyota reliability and this car speaks for itself. The car is quick, responsive, and a blast to drive. We have bought it with 191 miles on it and now have 500, this car sips gas with 30MPG city. I recommend this car for anyone, great comfort, lots of room and a peppy 1.8 litre engine.

What US cars wish they could be... - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Bennett - January 20 - 4:26 pmIf you want quality, reliability, safety, and economy, buy a Corolla. This car drives and feels more expensive than it is. The engine is so smooth. In the past, I shifted when it felt right, or when the engine sounded ready. I cant do that now, because it is too quiet and smooth. Two complaints: 1) The stereo sound quality is poor. 2)If I adjust the seat so that my legs are comfortable, I have to stretch my arms to reach the wheel. The seating position is too high, also. I am still very pleased with my purchase. And I know it will last forever.

Corolla Sport 2009 - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Corolla Sport - January 20 - 12:40 amNo serious issues other than some rattles and squeaks. Gas mileage is not as good as the old corolla, but it is bigger than the old corolla , comfortable drive. Would have been perfect if there were no rattles. Dealer fixed most of the rattles, but still some there.

Perfect for a college student! - 2002 Toyota Corolla
By joejoezz - January 19 - 3:36 amWe bought a a Corolla with 120,000 miles on it and now have it up to 136,000. So far, we have only done routine maintenance, although I recommend watching the brakes closely. It burns a little oil but nothing major. Combined gas mileage is around 28 in the winter and 35 in the summer. The cars size is its best feature for living in the city: it drives well for such a tiny car and it is easy to parallel park into tiny spots. You just have to watch out because sometimes big SUVs dont see it.

GAS GUZZLER - 2014 Toyota Corolla
By carlove3 - January 15 - 4:04 pmSomeone told a big lie about the gas mileage on this car - it is terrible. I had a 91 volvo and was paying the exact amount for gas without the car payment. If gas mileage is a concern... go with a hybrid... this is absolutely not your car

Zippin Thru! - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By jujibee - January 15 - 3:23 amThis is one of the best cars Ive ever had. (And Ive had many.) It is very fun to drive when zipping thru traffic! Very sporty. Ive added some things to the car and it looks very nice with added features. The gas is great, about 30-38 mpg! You could easily have the gas light on and still make it a good 10-20 miles! The sound is great, and the air is pretty good. Very reliable, havent had any problems with the mechanics yet! Automatic locks and windows are great. Love how it locks soon as you put it in drive and unlocks when in park. Pretty roomy to say the car is about 10 ft! Love Love Love this car!

09 Corolla LE - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Rick - January 9 - 7:30 amJust bought the new 2009 corolla and am impressed with the leg room, and just took a highway trip to check gas mileage, and got 41.3 MPG with a automatic, Very impressive. And have noticed a big improvement on torque going up hills without it having to down shift. I highly recommend the 09 Corolla.
