Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

First Toyota - 2014 Toyota Corolla
By Robert T. Paige - May 26 - 2:36 pmThis is my first Toyota. The decision was based on a rental car - we liked it so well that we bought the Corolla instead of the Ford Fusion we had been considering. The interior seems much more of an upgrade from the previously owned Mercury Sable, also more room , especially legroom. Wife and daughter rate the cloth seating much more comfortable than the leather in the Sable. The instrument panel is the thing which I look at most of the time (LOL)and that is one of the features I like best. In town gas mileage has been consistent at 30-to-31 miles per gallon and on a trip Texas-to California, cruising 65 MPH from 39-to-41 MPG. Styling sort of grows on you.

Dont Rush into it! - 2013 Toyota Corolla
By mike806 - May 25 - 2:09 amI actually just bought a Corolla S a hours ago and I already regret my purchase, I should have gone with the CIVIC or the Sentra, better Gas, more power, more leg room and much better Dash Board Look., I did like the sporty look of the S model, but after a few hours I should have just gone with the Civic, 30 more dollars a month would have been definitely worth it.

solid car - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By justink - May 18 - 7:10 amThis car is a solid, dependable car. I bought this car coming from 2 bad experiences with Pontiac and Lincoln. I am hoping that this car is as reliable as corollas of the past. So far, i am getting 36 mpg on average. On the highway i am getting close to 38, which is great. The ride is smooth and relatively quiet. The stereo system could be better, but I may upgrade that myself. The seats are comfortable, and I love using the auxiliary part of the stereo for my IPOD.

Amazing car - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By Whistler2 - May 13 - 10:00 amThis is a great car. The best in its class for sure. The other cars I tested (Civic, Protege, Sentra, Elantra, Focus) have nothing on this new Corolla. I highly reccomend it!

A baby Lexus? - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By Larry - May 11 - 6:20 amThis is my second Corolla. The first was a 1998. As good as the 1998 Corolla was the 2003 was like night and day - fantastic. The car is solid, reliable, handles very well and has a good pick up. The charted overall mileage since 8-02 is slightly below 28.5 mpg. The car has a good sound system. The layout is user friendly. The car has held its value over the years far better, I would say, than anything American in that price range.

What the clock? - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By JJ985 - May 9 - 10:00 amI love the color! I got the blue streak metallic which is the bright blue. I orig. wanted the Yaris but with high gas prices their prices have shot up. I couldnt justify the price for a Yaris. So they showed me the 09 Corolla S and I fell in love. So far it is great. Some issues but overall a good buy. I am averaging 35 MPG in the city.

Great Car! - 2002 Toyota Corolla
By Megan - May 8 - 4:43 pmI didnt have this car very long. I got in an accident and totaled it. When I crashed I was well protected. I didnt get a scratch. Its a great commuter to and from school. It always turns on even when its freezing outside. The seats are very comfortable and I only had to fill the gas tank every 2 weeks which saved me a lot of money. It did burn oil though which I really didnt like because it got expensive to keep having to replace the oil. It drives pretty well on snow and water. I liked the overall shape of the car, but the paint on the hood was peeling off. Overall, I really liked it.

love it and miss it - 1995 Toyota Corolla
By Jumboshrip100 - May 7 - 10:00 amI always brag about my little corolla (aka Corona the Corolla). She always ran great and I never had to put money into it, except for fluid changes and basic tune-up, which wasnt until recently. Unfortunately my little corolla was severely hit a couple of weeks ago and I may have to put her to sleep. So sad. But she did well. Were all very proud of her.

BEST IN CLASS - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By TONY - May 7 - 10:00 amI PURCHASED THIS CAR IN FEBRUARY. I IMMEDIATELY STARTED ACCESSORIZING IT. TOYOTA JUST CAME OUT WITH 18" WHEELS AND TIRES FOR THE COROLLA. THIS CAR IS SHARP. I TURN HEADS EVERYWHERE I GO. EVERYONE THINKS I AM DRIVING A LEXUS. I BOUGHT IT AS A FAMILY CAR. I HAVE ALWAYS OWNED 2 DOOR SPORTS CARS, SO I WAS RELUCTANT TO GET A 4 DOOR. NOW, I COULDNT BE HAPPIER. THIS VEHICLE IS A THRILL TO DRIVE. I LOVE THE REDESIGN. GOOD JOB TOYOTA.
