Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Great Car for the Money - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By objectivejoe - September 8 - 11:28 amThis car maintains great 30+ MPG even with a full load of groceries, kids and a dog (dont ask how we do do it). Oil changes are the only maintenance we have done to it since we bought in 2010. Very reliable.

Beauty and Durability... - 2012 Toyota Corolla
By maggie2012 - September 7 - 9:31 pmWe have been a Toyota family for over 20 years and recently purchased our 7th Toyota. We were pleasantly surprised when we test drove the 2012 Toyota Corolla "L" base model and found that it had power windows and doors. The price is affordable and with current incentives and low interest financing, it makes it good buy even better. Beauty and durability, thats what Toyota offers...

By BurnOUt - September 6 - 2:00 amOK! to make one thing clear, this is the best corolla ever! period! For one thing the entire ride is nice, when i first borrowed it from my sister and drove around the block, people was turning heads. I love the Corolla i only with they came out with a V6 or a VVTL-i for the sport version. I wish they did so bad cause i hate honda! Why do they think honda equals speed? they didnt say then when i corollaed em out!

Great commuter car with issues. - 2015 Toyota Corolla
By elliska7 - September 3 - 7:09 pmPros: - great gas mileage (Im getting 35MPG with mostly highway miles) - entertainment console is easy to use even while in motion - small, sporty family car Cons: - way too small for anyone 6 or taller (I fit but commonly have to bend my legs and constantly be moving or my legs go numb, and a hard time getting in/out of the car) - also way too small for a family size larger than 2 (with my infant in her rear facing carseat behind the passenger seat my wife cannot fit due to height, she still has to sit behind the drivers seat to have any room) - this cars steering/handling is worst of any car I have ever owned (driving at highway speeds the car floats, it drives in a straight line but the body/suspension/frame are constantly pulling to the left or right. This motion causes me to constantly have to pull the car one way or the other. I have had to deal with 3-4 service appointments where I was told that "this was the issue" or "that was the issue". First time they told me the front tires had too much of a toe so they completed a four wheel alignment. Didnt fix the issue. Brought it in again and they replaced the rear axle beam. No fix. This last time, they told me nothing was wrong and that is "just how the Corolla handles.") - during snow, rain, or wind you might as well leave the car in the garage and walk to work (with any sort of wind, at all, the car is pushed around as if I was driving a skateboard, snow or rain is dangerous in this car) Overall: Im looking for a new car, ASAP. I may even try to lemon this thing.

By San - September 3 - 10:00 amI just bought this car 2 weeks ago and went to New York on the weekend and really enjoyed the trip. This car has a comfortable ride and the steering is very smooth. LE wood grain interior adds a little more class to the corolla. You cant beat the gas milege. The value of this car is outstanding, cant get a better car at this price.

Corolla S Plus - Excellent Car so Far - 2014 Toyota Corolla
By mitchieray - September 3 - 8:43 amBought this 2014 Corolla S Plus in Dec 2013., I Traded in a 2010 Corolla S. I have noticed Many improvements over the 2010 Model, I really like the CVT Trans. over the Manual. I had a Manual in the 2010 and I did test the Manual in the 2014. I am very surprised at the superb acceleration of the CVT over the Manual, The Engine revs. high and stays high in the power band through all gears up to 70+ mph. It is quite impressive & fun! Dont waste your time on a Manual, get a manual trans. in a sports car with a V-8 & feel the power there. Do yourself a big favor & Test drive all the Corolla models, you will see a significant difference in Handling and performance when you get to the S & S+

Second Corolla - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By Chris - September 3 - 8:30 amAfter being hit by a 18 wheeler, and surviving, I decided to replace my totaled 2008 Corolla CE with a 2010 Corolla LE. So far, I am very satisfied with the new Corolla. It feels roomier and more comfortable than the 08 Corolla and has more creature comforts. I have not noticed any of the steering issues that other have complained about, and the build quality is fantastic. I do suggest getting the dealer installed body molding, it makes the car look better and provides protection from door dings. Finally, I got a great deal on the car with zero percent interest.
