Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Great car for the money. - 2000 Toyota Corolla
By WRXwanter2 - October 13 - 2:00 amI bought this car used from a Ford Dealer and it has given me no problems as of yet. The build quality and reliability are amazing, Being young I have rode in many other smaller cars and this car just feels like it has been put together well. The 1.8L VVT- i engine is on par with its competetors. It has far more torque than a civic, and the power comes on down low. Lets not be mistaken this car is no rocket, but if driven right its no slouch. I have the 4 speed auto and it shifts smoothly. To sum up this car in one word it would be smooth. I recomend this car to anyone who needs a good reliable car at an extremely afordable price.

Great Deal - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By iadara - October 10 - 11:18 pmI just recently purchased my 01 Corolla S automatic for way under blue book with 116K miles on it and couldnt be happier. The handling, turn radius and overall feel of the car is so much more luxurious than that of my 1986 Corolla that I traded in years ago with 281K miles on it. Weird thing though was as soon as I got into the vehicle, it felt like I was sitting back in my 1986 model. Toyota has pretty much kept all the dials and switches in the same place, except for the radio, so I didnt have to "learn" anything new. Love the sunroof, the engine is super quiet and even though the exterior is typical Toyota boring, the interior is very nice. Im happy with it.

Love this car - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Amy - October 9 - 8:30 pmI love this car. I traded my 06 Corolla S because I liked the body style and more interior room on the 09. Great car and I will probably always drive a Corolla.

Very good for the price - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Ron - October 9 - 7:00 pmI bought the car while Toyota had $2000 cash back deals. I got additional $400 military discount. The price was phenomenal. This is my second Corolla. I owned 1997 Corolla and it did not give me any problem. With the new one, I average about 27-30 mpg per tank (80% city & 20% hwy). I have standard stereo and the sound quality is very decent. Overall, Im very happy with the car.

Corolla does it again - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By cuwee - October 5 - 2:10 pmI have owned my 2003 Corolla LE since it was brand new. It has been amazing car since day, today with 135k miles. I grew up with a 1992 Corolla that my mom owned and loved until the rust ate through it.

2007 Corolla Sport Model Review - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By rob - October 5 - 6:23 amNo major mechanical problems to report with regular 5k oil changes. Overall the car is reliable and comfortable for commuting. I think Im getting to the end of my first set of brakes and have replaced the tires with better michelins. The car starts and runs well even on cold mornings. My weekend ford ranger has a more comfortable seating and a better stock stereo but only seats two comfortably and gets at best 21mpg with 17-19mpg typical mileage for the 3 liter v6. The corollas 1.8 liter gets 32 mpg most often with up to 36 or 37mpg on long road trips. Rear seats are comfortable for kids and short people but too cramped for large adults. With light loads car has plenty of pep.

Fantastic and Indestructable - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Chris - October 5 - 6:16 amI ordered my LE 5-spd manual (loaded with goodies like leather, roof, etc.), and it has provided 58,000 trouble-free miles. This is the perfect car for someone who needs an A+ commuter car with no trouble. The interior materials are first-rate, and you would be hard pressed to find anything more comfortable or better-appointed at this price. The only issue I had a center console door that failed to close, which was replaced under warranty with no hassle. Fair warning, from a car enthusiast standpoint (like myself), this car is about as exciting to drive as a washing machine. You will want to have a "fun car" in addition to this one. Also, the steering feel is scarily horrific.

Fantastic Car - 1995 Toyota Corolla
By dan - October 3 - 11:26 pmMy family has owned our 1995 corolla since it was brand new. It was passed on to me and my brother when we were 18 or so, and the car has never had any significant problems. The 7AFE engine is bulletproof. 250,000 miles on this thing and it is still running perfectly.
