Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • take a look at the 2012 Corolla S - 2012 Toyota Corolla

I did my research. I test drove several cars that I was reading rave reviews about - the Ford Focus, the Chevy Cruze, the Hyundai Elantra, the Nissan Sentra (which was worth considering, although darn it no telescoping steering wheel) and others that didnt get the rave reviews like the Honda Civic, which was overpriced I thought and not too impressive... But I LOVED the Corolla S although you pay more for the S, and then I was almost in Camry territory (and same gas mileage believe it or not) but would have wanted the SE which is @5 more Gs than mine... but look at the Corolla. I love it. And I drove them all. gas mileage is AWESOME! get the sunroof for 400 more... I just trust TOYOTA.

  • A great vehicle! - 2003 Toyota Corolla

My wife and I recently purchased this car and we have had nothing but good things happen. We previously owned a Plymouth Breeze, and by far the Corolla has better handling, a roomier interior, and is very reliable. It is not the flashiest car around, but it will get you from point A to point B without any hassles. We have no regrets in buying this car!!!

  • The Sporty Corolla S is a Joy to Drive - 2010 Toyota Corolla

This is my fifth Toyota purchase. I have never had any mechanical problems with any of my cars. I value dependability and Toyota delivers. I downsized from an Avalon XL to the much-smaller Corolla, and I dont regret my decision. My gas mileage is terrific and I can whip into the tightest of parking spaces with ease. The redesigned Corolla S is very attractive and it is a joy to drive.

  • Solid buy for new or used - 2015 Toyota Corolla

I purchased a new 2015 Toyota Corolla in June 2015. I have been driving it for about 6 weeks. It is a pleasure to drive. I am 62" and I fit fine. The CVT takes some time to get accustomed to. I have had a Celica and two Tacomas. I had a Honda Prelude also. I considered Civic and test drove a similarly equipped one. I didnt like the Honda as much and the Corolla was $2000 or more less expensive. I recommend the 2015 Toyota Corolla. Its not a race car and its not pretending to be one. Its fun to just take a drive or commute in. The one thing for taller drivers is the center armrest and left armrest are so low taller drivers like me have trouble getting the seat low enough to comfortably rest our arms. Yes, the seat moves up and down....about 2 or 3 inches. All said if the Honda had been cheaper I "might" have thought longer but probably would have made the same decision going with the Corolla. My last Toyota lasted 14 years and there was still nothing wrong with it. I expect this car will last me or future owners 15-25 years if maintained.

  • Love My Car - 2003 Toyota Corolla

This is my first car and I cant be more pleased. I get about 400 miles per gallon. I have driven about 22000 miles and have had NO mechanical problems. The car is a blast to drive and I love how small it is on the outside and how roomy it is on the inside. I have hauled large pieces of furniture with no problem because there is so much room. Having a standard transmission gives the car a little more kick as far as pick-up. I would recommend this car to anyone who does a lot of driving and likes the sporty look.

This has been a great car. I drive over 2000 miles a month. Most of the time I get 38 miles to the gal. If I keep it at 65 on interstate I can get up to 43. Great reliability.

  • No fog lights on any Corolla!!!!!!!!! - 2017 Toyota Corolla
    By -

After doing my research on the 2017 Corolla I bought the XSE with Nav. So far I like the car for what it is drives nice ok power fairly comfortable. So after a week of ownership I needed foglights being told by sale staff that the did have them guess what it dose not. So long story short im stuck Toyota needs to pull there heads out and equip these cars correctly no fog lights how much could they cost really.Other than that im pretty happy with the car.But I wont but abother Toyota product bad customer service both corp and dealers.
