Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

By iwonagain - March 18 - 5:10 pmjust bought car 2/25/02, but..... in love!!!!! i personally would have liked the celica gts engine in the corolla but this one sacrifices only a tiny bit of power for unbelieveable fuel economy. overall "10"

Corolla will last forever - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By MG - March 17 - 1:00 amI bought my Corolla 5 years ago and in that time I put 225000 km on it. I have not once had a problem with it. With the 5-speed it is fun to drive and super reliable! Unfortunately I got in an accident with it and it was written-off. Now its so hard to find a second-hand Corolla with low KMs.

Awesome Starting out car - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By bosshogg62 - March 15 - 2:00 amMy wife and I just graduated college and were looking for a cheap, reliable car. We got a great dealer rebate and with good credit, got outstanding financing. I would recommend this car to anyone whos in the same boat we are. Theres not much room in the back seat if youre a grown man, but I dont plan on riding in the back a whole lot because its a blast to drive.

First, last and only. - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By jehu - March 15 - 12:03 amWhat can I say, you get what you pay for. While the car is very dependable and gets good mileage why do the windshield washers freeze, even with good quality washer fluid? Why do the rain gutters insist on failing to do there job? Why does it take so long to heat the cabin in winter? Why Toyota, why, this is supposed to be the magic carpet ride of automobiles, the unfailing Toyota Motor Co. The title of my review says it all.

SORRY SORRY - 2014 Toyota Corolla
By Linda Larkins - March 14 - 10:08 amI am so sorry I purchased this car without some one more knowledgeable than me to look it over. I paid cash $12,700.00 for the car and should have never did it as I purchased it in a rush and was moving across state in 2 days. Before I had the car 7 days I had to pay $179.00 to have an oil leak fixed, however the dealer is suppose to send me a check for the repair. I had many scratches on the paint, a dent under the right door, I did not see and my front under panel if it is called that on the drivers side has a large crack in it which will most definitely have to be fixed. I am so upset about my car if I could get my money back I would. I take pride in our cars as we have only had 2 new ones and several used ones. I was told this car would last me for a long period of time, but with these things looking me in the eye each time I go to get into it I do not think so. I only live on social security and the sale of my husbands boat and truck was the only way I had cash to pay for this car. My husband is in long term care and I am and have been his caregiver for many years. I will never have the money to pay for another car as I have had to move into my sons home to have a place that I could live.

First timer - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Mark - March 8 - 6:50 pmI upgraded from a 1998 Malibu, which gave me fits for reliability, but interior was much better: the power mirror adjustment on the Toyota is on the dash and difficult to reach when driving; arm rest on the driver left is not usable so you have to rest your arm on the window ledge, the arm rest on the right is too far back; the clock is tucked into drivers instrument panel and tiny; and none of the cup holders have liners to take out for washing. In general, the interior is just flat out cheap. On the upside, the readouts for gas usage are terrific, the car runs great, and looks good. Just wish Toyota had spent the extra few dollars on the interior.

Super Auto - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By J. Mahon - March 8 - 2:00 amJust an all around great car. Fun to drive, great fuel economy and extremely Reliable. Complaints to dealer since purchase is zero. Toyotas reputation is a definite plus. I have a 1992 Toyota Tercel in showroom condition. Runs like new. Id love to buy the new hybrid but cant until the Tercel dies, and I dont think thats ever gonna
