Overview & Reviews
For 2011, the Toyota Avalon receives new front- and rear-end styling, a new dash and more standard features. Furthermore, trim levels have been reduced to the base Avalon (which is similar to the outgoing XLS trim) and the Avalon Limited.
- Seats five adults in comfort, attractive cabin design with high-quality materials, composed and quiet ride, powerful and efficient V6, available upscale amenities, strong crash test scores.
- A bit expensive for its class, refined nature leaves little room for flair or personality, rear seats do not fold.

Lexus LS for Half The Price - 2011 Toyota Avalon
By Stuart - October 31 - 7:20 pmThis is my third Avalon, from 2005 to 2008 to the new 2011, all Limiteds. Each one was better than the last and this is the best yet. I got the new zephyr blue color and it is absolutely stunning. This "redesign" is not much different than the old version but it still looks great and current. Smooth, comfortable, and quiet ride, back seat that feels like a limo. Newly upgraded NAV system with back-up camera. All the bells and whistles you want in a luxury vehicle. I cannot understand why anyone would pay double the price for a Lexus LS.

2011 Avalon - 2011 Toyota Avalon
By Bill - March 3 - 4:13 pmIve had a 1999 Avalon for the last 8 years, so Im already a fan of the brand. Ordered the Avalon from the dealer, requesting Cypress Pearl/Ivory with upgraded stereo and 5 pc mat set only. It ended up taking a little over 2 months from order date, 45 days if youre counting from build date. The car was definitely worth waiting for. The thing that strikes me most is the quietness in the cabin, whether on a city street, county road, or highway. The quality of workmanship is excellent. The exterior is pleasing yet not exactly attention grabbing true, but I dont really need attention, didnt buy the car for that. The interior is more important to me, and Im very happy with that.

Love our new Avalon - 2011 Toyota Avalon
By coman - March 19 - 9:23 amWe love our new Avalon. It is roomy, comfortable, quiet and smooth riding. I am apparently one of the few who like all of the new styling updates as well. Maybe thats because at 66, Im in their target demographic. I think its the best car Ive ever owned. Its remarkable how much power it has and yet I get 22+ mpg in town and 30+ mpg on the highway. Its a great car for road trips.

I love my Avalon! - 2011 Toyota Avalon
By pennyj - February 24 - 7:49 pmI have not had my Avalon too long, but for the time I have had it...I adore it. I have had many other cars, from Ford to Buick to Chevy, etc. I am in love with this car. It drives like a dream. I slammed on the brakes in the rain and it stopped on a dime. If I were in my van I used to have or my truck...I would have wrecked my car. I am so satisfied, I cant believe it.

Ive Owned Two - 2011 Toyota Avalon
By Kenneth Jordan - February 20 - 8:34 pmBecause of special needs within my family I selected the 2011 Avalon because it had large side windows front and rear, unlike many cars whose rear windows, especially, taper almost to a point, and it has a full bench seat in the rear without the raised bump in the middle that makes it uncomfortable for 3 passengers. Its overall size and ride makes it very comfortable to ride in, and there are many little conveniences built into the passenger compartment that are very useful. Some of these characteristics changed in later year models. When my car was rear ended at 55MPH its collapsible design absorbed the shock and my wife and I both walked away unhurt even though the car was totaled. When replacing the car I searched specifically for a 2011 Avalon same model and am delighted with it.
