Overview & Reviews
The Vue is an all-new sport-utility vehicle in Saturn's lineup, designed to compete on the lower end of the scale with models like the Ford Escape and Honda CR-V.
- Car-like handling, extensive choice of drivetrains, spacious cabin.
- Bland interior, noisy four-cylinder.

Buyer Beware - 2002 Saturn VUE
By Heather - January 2 - 1:23 amWhat a pile of junk. We traded in our Ford Escape for this and I wish we hadnt. This car has been into the service department 5 times for the stupid check engine light. We have paid them over $1000 dollars and the check engine light still stays on. The car will not accelerate and I was almost run down by a semi truck on I-25 due to this stupid problem. I will never buy a Saturn again!

Great SUV - 2002 Saturn VUE
By Dan from NH - December 22 - 10:06 pmStunning vehicle. The orange looks like a copper penny in the right light. Very impressed with its size, features, fuel economy and price. Plus it drives better than my Alero. Very spirited driver. Too bad a lot of people forget about Saturn.

I Love My Saturn VUE - 2002 Saturn VUE
By Ld0724 - December 15 - 10:00 amWe tried the Ford Escape and the brake lights would not go out after just 2 days. My Saturn Vue has been WONDERFUL. I cannot imagine having any other small SUV. The price was wonderful, the gas mileage is so much better than the Escape, and Saturn has been simply wonderful. I will be a Saturn owner for life. Sometimes it is the little options that are standard that make all the difference in the world. From the Grocery carrier, to the speakers. I love my VUE.

vVery happy with this purchase - 2002 Saturn VUE
By jukir - December 7 - 3:43 pmOur familly was growing, and we needed a larger car. We purchased the Saturn in June of 2002, and it is now May of 2007. I have never had it in the shop except for oil changes and tire changes of course. I still get about 28 mpg. There is plenty of room for three children and a large dog The trunk offers a grocery storage area. There are plenty of cup holders as well as leg room. The only change that I would make would be the comfort of the seats, as it seems to lack lumbar support.

Mine has been a "Good One" - 2002 Saturn VUE
By Karen - December 3 - 4:43 pmWhen I first purchased the Vue, I was driving over 100 miles a day to and from work. I wanted something cheap and dependable. That was 6 years and over 100k miles ago. Besides the normal oil changes, tires, brakes and other normal maintenance, I have had to spend nothing for repairs. Its been a very good car and I hope it continues to be.

Vue 2002 - 2002 Saturn VUE
By Tyger - September 27 - 2:00 amMy VUE has been in the shop for warranty work 9 times in a year and a half. The SES light comes on every two months for, miraculously, never quite the same thing twice so I could not declare it a lemon. And now with less then 2 years, the paint is chipping. Plus, the dealer will not support a loaner car on my brand new SUV.

Great Car - 2002 Saturn VUE
By Wes - June 14 - 2:00 amUnlike the title says, this is the FWD, not AWD Anyway, acceleration is very quick, not torquey but still quick. The engine approaches the red line very quickly (7000 rpm). The speed can be deceiving, when going 50 it feels like about 30. Braking is good, since it is such a light vehicle. The car handles beautifully, without much sway at all. It feels stable at all time. I was especially surprised by the ride, it was very smooth, much smoother than i was expecting. Back seat space is very limited, people over 6 feet would have problems sitting in the back.
