Overview & Reviews
The Vue is an all-new sport-utility vehicle in Saturn's lineup, designed to compete on the lower end of the scale with models like the Ford Escape and Honda CR-V.
- Car-like handling, extensive choice of drivetrains, spacious cabin.
- Bland interior, noisy four-cylinder.

The O.K. Saturn - 2002 Saturn VUE
By ghmm - January 6 - 10:00 amThe car has been in the shop for some just misc. items. The tabs in the handles keep coming out. The strut joint in the driverside front has been replaced and needs to be replaced again (design flaw). Service engine soon light came on @ 16000 mi. and they said it was my gas cap but I think its something else. The antenna also keeps coming loose.

My VUE is a POJ - 2002 Saturn VUE
By Vince - November 23 - 4:16 amI have nothing but continued trouble with this vehicle from day 1 including ABS sensors, transmission issues along with many other small problems that seem to "popup" over the time I have owned the vehicle. I would not and will not ever recommend or own a Saturn or VUE again in my life.

Overlooking the little things - 2002 Saturn VUE
By ROTC - October 17 - 10:00 amWhen I first heard Saturn was making an SUV, I laughed. I never imagined that I would like it, but as soon as I drove it I knew that I had to have it. The way it handled, especially with the I4 and VTi tranny is amazing, and continues to improve each time I drive it. The perforated leather is nice, letting the seats warm up easily, and preventing wrinkling. The seats become more comfortable as they are sat in, and the interior can fit 5 easily, even with all of their equipment for a long day of roadmarches.

Great Vehicle - 2002 Saturn VUE
By loopylav - September 29 - 10:00 amI like my VUE a lot. I have had it for just over a month and have enjoyed every minute of driving it. I have had a few warranty issues dealing mainly with interior build quality, but nothing to turn me off. The mechanicals (i.e. drivetrain, brakes, etc.) have been superb and are the reason that I am so happy. The VUE handles very well, this comming from a previous Civic owner. The dealership experience has been the best and most consistent I have ever had. No complaints there. I recommend checking it out, that is how we got into the VUE. We were just so impressed

Yes, I love my Saturn - 2002 Saturn VUE
By DM - September 4 - 2:10 pmThis is my second Saturn. My Vue has 97,000 miles on it and has only had one expensive problem. Other than tires/oil changes/routine maintenance the only problems have been a leak around the front passenger door (fixed by Saturn easily) and currently the gas gauge has stopped registering correctly. I have driven hundreds of miles in a day and been comfortable all the way. I am still getting 29 mi/gal highway and decent mileage on in town driving.

Saturn wasnt on the radar screen - 2002 Saturn VUE
By Sgt. Carter - July 5 - 10:00 amI wasnt even thinking about a Saturn when I took the wifes van in for service across the street from a dealer. I had time to kill and went over to look at the VUE since I was semi "in the market" to replace my 2000 Ford ZX2 with something larger. I get Fords at invoice through my employer but that couldnt beat the introductory price of the 4cyl/5-speed VUE with all of the "free" equipment. Ive driven Escapes, Libertys, Rodeo Sports, 4 Runners, and I really liked the VUE. For the feel of quality it has at the price I paid, $17065 with the power package, am/fm/cd upgrade, alloy wheels, floor mats and the power sunroof, it is the best deal out there.

Windsurfing trip in ;the VUE - 2002 Saturn VUE
By Gene McCarren - June 28 - 10:00 amI received my VUE Sport the end of May, the sport has almost all features avail (sunroof, cd player, power windows, doors, mirrows ect) for $16,995 total. The ride is very smooth, at 75 mph there is NO wind noise and the cruise control maintains beautifully up and dow hills (bridges here in Fla)I have loaded the VUE with lots of windsurfing equip, including a 99" long 34" wide board inside over the dash and an 8.5 board under it. I looked at all other small SUVs and none of them could come close to the Vue for capasity. The Saturn experience was great. Im leaving on a 7000 mile trip to the NW with 5 boards, 10 sails, 6 masts, 4 booms and me inside.
