Great auto! - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By a324 - February 25 - 2:00 amThis is a wonderful car and great fun to drive. I had a 1996 Sentra that was very reliable and I anticipate this one to be even better. It is roomy, comfortable, and solid. The price was excellent. The new color "inferno" is striking. It is a beautiful and impressive looking car.

2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8S - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By Saergae - February 9 - 8:13 pmI bought my New Nissan Sentra with saving money in mind. I traded a Dodge Ram V8 for this and am totally sagisfied. Not Apples to Apples but then again I was looking for fuel economy with some features I could compare to my fully loaded truck. I would say that the value for the money is well worth it. I get 33 MPG average since I bought it 2 weeks ago. Ive saved $154 in 2 weeks driving this over my truck. Lets face it this car is no BMW but Nissan is not advertising it to be so I think anyone looking for economy would do well to look at this car. I commute 100 miles a day so this for me was a good decision. GOOD JOB NISSAN.

nothing but problems. - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By shotgun1496 - January 31 - 7:19 ambought this car from carmax. the stereo skips non stop, had to change the starter three times, dash lights went out, had to have the ignition switch replaced twice. hard to start the car, often time you have to shut the engine off and back on, because the car just wont go above 20, steering is difficult, and im 6ft so the car isnt the most roomy, the riding comfort is the only good thing. overall bad car.

I am sorry that I bought this car - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By CFF - January 26 - 7:13 amI bought this car new because it had been recommended to me as a reliable car. Well, those who told me that were wrong. I hate this car. It has had problems from the moment I bought it. The catalytic converter has been replaced 5 times! They have replaced the belts over and over because there is a squeaking sound that cant be figured out. Yesterday it completely died and a costly repair is needed. I wish I could throw this car away!! There is no room in the backseat or the trunk. I can barely fit a car seat in it. I did not like getting stranded on the side of the road with my 7 month old on a 100 degree day. I will never buy a Nissan again.

Not a terrible car - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By herb45 - January 9 - 7:06 pmI already have a new car, but started a new job and drive 43 miles one way. So I bought a 2004 Sentra with 55,800 miles on it to keep the miles off the new one and thought it would be a great car. Well, the mileage is great, 25 mpg city/37 mpg hwy. Great for an automatic. I have had to have quite a few things replaced, as it was a repo. I only paid 5400 for the car, but have had to replace gas tank seal, alternator belt/pulley, crankshaft & camshaft sensors, and had to order dye for the carpet & upholstery (special order), as I am trying to make the car look as nice as possible. I just hope I wont have to replace anything for a while. I did manage to drive about 2000 miles before the sensors were replaced.

My Mini-BMW in Volcanic Orange - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By amgpig9 - January 7 - 2:00 amI chose this Sentra after having driven the 1.8S, the 2.5S, and the Altima 2.5S. The Altima, while nice, was too big and "family car." The 1.8S and 2.5S Sentras were too dull, despite the facelift (I just came from a 98 Mitsubishi Mirage so I know from slow.) This SE-R was just right. The Altimas torque-rich, responsive engine, the sporty size, and the solid Nissan build quality. Plus the updated look, while bizarre on the "normal" Sentras, works like a charm on the SE-R models (I think it has to do with the paint choices.) Its fast its loaded (sunroof/ABS/160-Watt stereo), and its a Volcanic Orange masterpiece!

2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8s - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By Fuzzy1 - January 3 - 10:00 amJust purchased. Enjoy the peppy engine. There is more engine noise than I would expect for a new car, even a small car. The ride is a bit more stiff than I had anticpated. On the highway it sails along effortlessly (except for the engine noise) Has pretty good low end torque, for fast starts. All in all it is a good value for the money
