A little dissapointment - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By MOD - June 21 - 10:00 amPurchased the car, not even a month, found out the car has a minor oil leak. The car vibrates as if its going to die after driving a few miles. Going to take it back to be serviced. Cant believe Nissan would allow this car to be off the production line.

great - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By gubernator - June 21 - 10:00 amthis car is great, it has lots of power and is fun to drive. It cruises at 70 on the highway, but probably wont hold its value like Civic. Under the hood is bizzarre, lots of strange wires everywhere.

computer replacement at 46,000 miles - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By Karen - May 5 - 5:56 amThis is a fast, fun car to drive but I was unhappy to find that one dealer said a sensor was out causing the transmission to malfunction and then they replaced the sensor again because I didnt make it around the block without the check engine light coming on again. Two days later after the second fix it happened again. I took it to another dealer who correctly diagnosed it as the computer itself and replaced it under warranty. I hope the new computer will last longer than another 46,000 miles!

Noisy, greedy and lazy - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By timeau - March 22 - 10:00 amSomething awful! 20 mpg in city/highway, metal knock in case of turning stearing wheel, in two dealerships got an answer "Your car is OK. We can not repeat your problems". Dont know what to do. Never, never, never buy Sentra!

SE-R Spec V < the sum of its parts - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By Brandon Apmann - March 2 - 1:06 amI purchased this car spanking new and enjoyed its strong engine with gobs of torque (for 2.5 liters), loved the limited slip differential, lots of grip from the tires and suspension. I was excited to finally own a new car I could pamper and keep minty fresh. Well, the honeymoon didnt last very long. From day one, literally, I kept fresh (every 3,000 miles) Mobil 1 oil in it, but despite my efforts, the car burnt more oil than any car Ive ever owned, 2quarts every oil change. Also at about 30k to 40K the car lost a lot of power, started blowing black smoke which made it impossible to keep the bumper clean. Also, the clear coat started to peel @ 50K, making the car quite ugly.
