  Its a great car. Fun to drive low maintenance and a great preformer. I love it and for a base model, it sure has a lot of pick up and power.

  I love the great gas mileage. I have not had any problems with my car at all. Its 4 years old with ~50K miles and still going strong!! I got the sunroof and the 10-CD changer. Its soooo fun to drive and all 3 kids want it!! I just bought an expensive SUV with the plan of selling this Sentra and I keep fighting with myself about keeping it!! I cant make up my mind!! The only 2 things I would change to make it perfect are the tires and one of the cup-holders is not usable if you have anything plugged into the power outlet. Love this car.

  My parents bought this car brand new in 2001. It was given to me in 2013 with 95k. Its needed minimal repairs besides regular maintenance. My parents replaced a faulty coil pack and egr valve that was covered under warranty. Ive replaced the clutch and struts with about 125k. Car still has plenty of get up and go at 145k. Paint has peeled off but everything still works. I love this car. I will drive it until the wheels fall off

  of all the cars that I have owned the sentra has been the best by far for dependability. I currently have 230,000 kms on it and have only had two minor problems. I still get 44 miles to the gallon. I use synthetic oil and a k&n filter. the dealer i got it from has been more than expected friendly and helpful with great service. thank-you and looking forward to more business.

  So far I put over 62000 miles on this car and only in shop for once (last month) except some recalls. Its been great overall. If you are looking for a decent car to put 200K+ miles on it. Sentra is a way to go!

  Ive owned an 86 Mustang, an 83 Corolla (rwd), 68 Plymouth Satellite, 97 200SX SE-R, among others, and when I found the 2001 Sentra SE w/Performance Package, it was all over. Definitely fun to drive, completely tossable, its a car that feels like simply an extension of my every sense... It was a couple of months until I realized this car came with a factory sub-woofer! A great car to drive, maintain, and own!

  This is my first Nissan (Sentra SE with performance pkg) and I have been very happy with it. It is cute and VERY fun to drive, and has lots of great features that just arent available on the competition. I looked seriously at the Civic as my last car was an Accord that I absolutely loved - but the Civic just couldnt hold a candle to the Sentra. Now that was before the Si came out - so maybe now it does, I dont know. The only caveat I have is the paint. It chips if you even look at it wrong. I will probably be repainting the whole car in the next year because of this. But other than that I love it!

  I bought this car new in late 2000 and over 100K it hasnt ever let me down. With the manual trans, its consistently a blast to drive. It has had minimal problems over the years, mostly incidental. Never any engine issues. Replaced O2 sesors, brakes, tires, fixed window motors, and the CD player is dead, and a tree fell on it and scratched the heck out of the paint (which was always a weak point) but I still cant justify giving this baby up! What Id get for it would never reflect the true value of this car!

  I bought this car and never had any problem with it.. always serviced at the dealership. goes from 0 - 60 in 9 seconds if it is 5 speed. the fuel economy is around 28 mpg. In your are serious about buying a compact size car this is the way to go. faster than a civic and a jetta cheppear than a Corolla a jetta or civic. Nissan Sentra is your choice.
