Downshift in Quality - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By karrun - December 22 - 10:00 amMy Sentra now has 4100 miles and I am having problems already. I feel like the car is impossible to control at high speeds. As far as the summertime, the AC completely kills any power the car has. It makes merging a nightmare. Have taken to turning the AC off (our turbo switch) to get that power back in a merge situation. The sunvisors on both sides are completely inadequate. There is WAY too much space on the drivers side windshield wiper that is not wiped away (it makes a big difference when you cant see). My ABS brakes are starting to grind already.

Nickel n dimer - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By wantastang302 - March 18 - 8:19 amAfter almost 6 years and 55k miles I have replaced almost everything on the vehicle except the engine. Not exaggerating. Wish I was. Purchased with 94k miles and just turned 150k. If I didnt love the car so much I would have sold it for a Mustang. Have a decent amount of mods and heavy suspension upgrades. Everything that broke on the car I replaced with high performance parts. I drive this car HARD Daily. Throw 6 inches of snow at this car and its useless although its dry weather fun makes up for it. This is NOT a reliable commuter. Missed more days of work than Id like to think about being stuck with this car. Will not buy another when I tire of this one.

2002 Spec-V - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By AaronR - February 8 - 10:00 amI was looking for street style car that i didnt have to buy all the accessories and install them myself and to have a quick engine. This was it. I looked at the Dodge Neon SRT-4 and decided to go with the import. I was not disapointed. After adding silver tint that was about all i had to add. The car has really nice accelaration with a ton of power. By the time i hit 3rd gear i was already hitting 80 !!

Hate to See It Go - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By mleinnyc - September 29 - 6:43 amWe are so sad to part with our Sentra. (We have to get a bigger car for kids and cant afford to insure two.) I bought it with 30K miles as a salvage and now have 100K on it. The only issue I ever had w/ the engine was fixed for free as a recall. Ive replaced a few belts and the brake pads. This car has been 100% reliable. Weve driven it, literally, across the country. Im not into flashy cars, dont care about how "fun" they are to drive. My main concern has always been the bottom line. I really appreciate being able to rely on this car and that Ive never had to spend a lot on it. Love this car!

Love this thing! - 2002 Nissan Sentra
By mattwoods - March 29 - 10:00 amThis car is absolutely amazing! I love the six speed tranny, its not sloppy feeling and it has a nice positive feel. This thing handles like its on rails! This is the most fun front-wheel drive car ive ever driven. Kills civics and integras without a problem because it actually has what Nissan likes to call TORQUE. Great job Nissan!
