2014 Pathfinder with transmission and brakes issues - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder
By astridmp - July 18 - 5:15 pmHello, I purchased a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder in october 2013 and the following day it started shuddering at around 20mph and the steering wheel would start vibrate at 50mph. Then I had a weird feeling when using the brakes and they told me it was normal I told Nissan, they did not mention the issues the 2013 model had... I had to find out by myself online...I should have done my homework before... I also noticed a loss of power when accelerating and the gas mileage is between 15 and 19 after driving it for 3 months. I received a recall notification a few weeks ago for the barkes and my car is going to the shop again tomorrow. I had to fight to get a rental car while they work on it...

2014 sl pathfinder - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder
By mary1422 - June 13 - 10:58 amThis is the worst car I have ever owned. It has the shudder problem at 28 mph. Third time taking it in tomorrow. They say they cannot duplicate the problem so there is nothing wrong with it!! So frustrated with this car. Do not recommend anyone to buy this car.

2014 Pathfinder SUCKS!!!! - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder
By src2006 - May 21 - 9:34 pmBought a 2014 Model from Micheal Jordan Nissan in Durham, NC in Oct. 2013! Was told by sales person that the transmission "sudder" issue was fixed on the 2014s. At 1500 miles the sudder issue started happening at around 20 MPH. Took it back they said needed a new transmission. Work with Nissan corp. for 2 weeks and they would not give me a new vehicle or my money back!! Would anyne in their right mind want a brand new SUV with 1500 miles on it with the transmission already replace? DONT THINK SO!! Im stuck with this piece of crap because cant trade it and will lose $6000.00 on it and differently cant sell it. Nissan stinks and NEVER AGAIN will I buy another one!!! Honda or Toyota!!

I work for VW and drive a pathfinder - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder
By andrewvw - April 14 - 10:15 amThe Nissan pathfinder is the best overall suv you will ever buy, longer lasting less maintenance, less expensive than most but not just a better value they drive awesome with the cvt transmission, they are quality built and so very comfy if you have kids. Get the sl version its just below the platinum the top level but you have the option to get the premium package that has the full sky light sunroof I. The back the Bose and the heated seats and super premium leather. Everything about it makes so much more sense than all the crap new do serif SUVs that are more expensive and just break down. There is not one suv that literally beats the pathfinder in looks(sexy mobile) or anything else

Great car! - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder
By evacman - March 2 - 8:44 amI like how smooth the ride is in this car. Also, compared to the 2012 Nissan Pathfinder I just traded in, this car is roomier inside. I look forward to seeing the types of gas mileage savings I will be able to realize. The 2012 Pathfinder was on a truck frame, but this is not and as a result, it is a sportier ride.
