Great Truck--Great Vallue - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder
By Fred Firestone - August 2 - 10:00 amHighly recommend this vehicle. Good construction and strong value. Plan to keep this truck for until its wheels fall off, which will probably be 7 yrs + from now.

My First Truck - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder
By Dave04 - April 18 - 10:00 amI have always been a sports coupe guy, but since my Dodge Avengers trans. blew I knew I needed something bigger and foriegn; end result-the Pathfinder. This SUV has been an absolute delight to own. It has had little to no problems other than a sticky accelerator and a broken skid plate. At 73000 miles, it is still driving like new.

Old - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder
By Tara - June 27 - 3:23 amI bought my Nissan Pathfinder two year old. Its now almost 2005 and I still have not had many proglems wiht it. The most major issue to me is the seat has just started ripping from normal wear. Overall this has been a great truck. When I do get a new vehicle I hope to purchase a Pathfinder again. Theyre awesome.

Super Buy!!! - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder
By Satisfied!! - May 6 - 10:00 amAlthough the fuel economy could be better, and the engine could use more horses, this vehicle is fantastic. The ride quality is superb. The interior is very quiet. The handling is great. Fit and Finish, this vehicle is outstanding. My next vehicle will definately be a Pathfinder.

An excellent choice and value - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder
By Charles - February 28 - 5:26 pmI bought used in 2001 with 27,000 and now have 81,000 in March 08. It a very comfortable and reliable SUV with lots of cargo space. No major repairs but I do keep it serviced regularly at my local Nissan dealer. I changed all the fluids about a year ago as a preventive maintenance procedure. During these higher gas price times, I would like better mpg but can live with 17 overall. Highway mileage is around 20-21. I like this body style much better than the new Pathfinder. Itclean and understated which I prefer. Excellent reliability and like to drive it.

Value, Quality and Reliability - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder
By Jim of Phoenix - November 21 - 2:00 amWhen I purchased my Pathfinder, I was seeking a mid-size SUV priced under $30,000 that was reliable and had some "get-up and go". Having been a previous Honda owner, my reliability expectations were relatively high. Nissan has met those expectations up to this point. Other than standard maintenance, I havent put any money into the vehicle. Im at 69,000 miles and still ticking!

1st SUV - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder
By Bill Woods - August 3 - 9:36 amBought this Nissan used in early 2002 with 42000 miles on vehicle. Had only one unscheduled maintenance problem, a computer chip in the polution controls, (check engine light stayed on). Have used for all types of occasions including some medium towing 3500-4000 lbs. It did and excellent job towing. At 7100 miles invested in a set in Michelins LT tires. Its like buying a new car for under$500. Milage has improved about 1 MPG.
