  • I love it! - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder

I just bought this vehicle and I LOVE it! It has 175k and it still runs strong! There are some problems, nothing you wouldnt expect with a car this old with that many miles but for the price Id say I got a pretty good deal. Lots of power and so much fun to drive. It has brand new firestone tires-cant shift into 2 hi 4 hi or 4 low due to the transfer case leaking and some other leak- so I havent really had a chance to test the 4WD, but its still an amazing car and it starts every morning!

  • My 1st SUV - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder

This is my first SUV, I have been married for 4 years and we have 2 children ages 3 & 2. I had a 99 ZX2 which I loved but it was getting too small. So we decided to go look for SUVs, I first drove a 2002 KIA, and I didnt like it at all. So he said for arouns the same price we have this Pathfinder, I was amazed at all the features it had and the way it rode compared to the BRAND NEW KIA. It was a leased car it was low on miles 52000, Have to get used to spending 25 dollars on gas instead of 15 and getting the same amount of mileage. ALL IN ALL ITS GREAT FOR MY FIRST SUV, I would never get another car again....

  • Hardy Value - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder

I bought the Pathfinder after my extensive research found Pathfinder has bulletproof reliability, good off- road capability, and ample towing capacity. Also, our past Nissan vehicles have been long lasting, trouble-free vehicles (we got 180,000+ miles on our 240SX!). With our Pathfinder, weve put many enjoyable miles (e.g., highway, around town, and offroad) on the Pathfinder...its roomy, rides well on the highway, and can fit all our luggage plus cart around the family. Overall, we appreciate this versatile, comfortable and rugged vehicle!

  • Great Foundation - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder

This car has a great ride around town and on the back road. It cruises comfortably on the highway, but can be a little scary if you have to manuver at that speed. The 4 wheel drive system is great, but you need better tires than stock for good snow and mud traction. A high end all terrain tire in stock size will do wonders for performance. I added a cold-air intake to get a little more passing power, and it was money well spent.

  • Most Excellent Ride - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder

What can I say it has style grace and turn heads.. But...it loves only the best gas and needs more horses. I Love IT.

  • Very Happy - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder

Overall very happy. Bought with 120K & have put 8k in three months. Very solid car even with the high milage. I drove a 97 explorer with this kind of milage & it was falling apart. This nissan is still tight. Power is very good although the engine can get loud under hard acceleration. Ride is a bit bouncy but not too bad. Love the truck!

  • Oustanding SUV!!! - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder

I owned a Ford Explorer a couple of years ago and thought "if this is what SUVs are like, I dont want one", but after some prodding by my wife we started looking and found this one. It has been an absolute joy to drive. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

We really enjoy this SUV. It is not as powerful as others, but it has enough power. The build quality is unmatched by anything Ive ever owned, driven, or ridden in. Outstanding quality, better to drive than the brand new Trailblazer we test-drove. And we bought it with 49k miles. The interior is as nice as my parents Mercedes SUV. Not as many gadgets, but as well constructed. My dad owned a Bravada with the same amount of miles a couple of years ago, and there is no comparison in quality. The Pathfinder may cost a little more, but well worth it. A++

  • Fun, Fun, Fun - 1999 Nissan Pathfinder

I did extensive research before I purchased this vehicle, but it sure paid off! I just love driving my pathfinder! I took a trip a trip in the winter from California to Arizona (1000 miles) just after I purchased it. I was comfortable for the entire ride. But most of all, I felt safe! Especially when cruising in the snow through the pass near Flagstaff, Arizona. During that portion of the trip, I saw 4 overturned SUVs in a 1 mile stretch. I just kept plugging along in 4WD with no problems. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone! I love it as much, if not more, than my Toyota 4x4.
