  • Best Sports Sedan for the Buck! - 2004 Mazda Mazda6

My wife had a 2001 Acura Integra and needed a bigger car. After careful research, we decided on the Mazda 6S in Sepang Green and cant be more happier. The car is loaded with everything but leather and navigation. The styling is very sporty for a 4 door sedan. Performance and handling are excellent. The engine and transmission are smooth throughout acceleration and quite quiet. The interior is very roomy. The car has ample storage space. I like the spring-loaded rear seats that fold when you pull the levers in the trunk. I also like the fact that it is easy for me to change the oil. I dont think there is a car on the market with this many features for the money!

  • Great Midsize Value - 2004 Mazda Mazda6

This car has certainly impressed me with its level of refinement for paying just a little more than $18,000 with 0% interest. The chasis and suspension are superb, making highway cruising quite and comfortable and back road twisties a real joy. The clutch and shifter work well, although there is a little too much clutch travel for my liking. Fit and finish seem to be excellent inside and out. The new for 2004 2.3L 4 cyl. engine is smooth, responsive, and turns in respectable gas milage (29-30 mpg mixed driving) I opted for the sport package in sepang green with Bose audio system.

  • Family sedan that doesnt drive like one. - 2004 Mazda Mazda6

Shopping around for a long time trying to find just the right blend of car that would accomodate my small family and not feel like something my father would drive. Considered a small SUV initially but the M6 is much more practical as an everyday city car with similar interior room. Better value and nicer looking than the Accord or Camry.

I went from a Camry to a Mazda 6 - what a fun car to own and drive. I almost bought another Camry. Im glad I made the switch. Everyone says the engine dont have enough power. I have the 4 cyl. Power is excellent, and gas mileage is great - much better than my 96 Camry.

  • Grab the 6 5-door - 2004 Mazda Mazda6

I had to write a review regarding this car. I have the automatic. I test drove competing cars like the Camry and Altima (the Accord and Galant were too ugly to be considered) and the 6 won hands down. The 6 looked better than all the competitors, had many of their optional features standard and blew them away with the space of the 5-door that still looks like a cool sedan! The warranty is better at 4yrs/50,000 miles with free rental cars and roadside assistance! The price I paid for mine was also less than I wouldve paid for the other boring cars that you see at every single street light!

  • Good Car - 2004 Mazda Mazda6

So far the vehicle has been excellent. The style of the vehicle is incredible. It has good acceleration for being a 4 cylinder sedan. Very fun to drive.

  • Not too bad - 2004 Mazda Mazda6

Bought car new. I think the automatic shifter is a little sloppy. When traveling at slow speed (like slowing down to turn) if I give it the gas to zip through my turn it will kinda lag. Or not downshift as I feel it should. Note if in manual mode no issue whatsoever. At 73000 miles my wheel bearings went. This turned into a month long nightmare with another area dealer trying to fix it. Took 4 return trips for them to finally figure out that one wheel bearing they replaced was bad. And by that point they also had to replace a hub as well. But they did get it fixed and not charge me any extra to fix. All in all I do like this car. If you like playing twister then getting into car should be ok

  • Mom’s new car - 2004 Mazda Mazda6

Okay. I really haven’t had the experience of driving it yet. Just test driving it. Went out yesterday to lease my 90 year old mother a new car. She had been driving upscale Mercury Sable. The dealership now also sold Mazda. Talked mom into the Mazda 6S with the 17” wheels and dual exhaust. Would have liked her to have the manual, but she opted for the 5 speed automatic. Can’t wait to compare it to my bimmer.

  • Four Cylinder Fun - 2004 Mazda Mazda6
    By -

I drive over 300 miles a day. After many test drives and reading Edmunds, I chose the Mazda6i over the Honda Accord 4 cylinder. I get a better feel of the road, better steering action and had a larger number of option choices. I am getting better gas mileage (between 27 and 28) for a lead foot, than the Honda. It also came in a beautiful green color, though I dont know how it got the name Sepang Green (or what Sepang means). I would definitely buy another Mazda6.
