For 2004, the Grand Cherokee gets a factory-installed DVD navigation system integrated into the radio. Columbia, Freedom and Special Edition trims are also new for 2004. All of these models incorporate subtle cosmetic touches and equipment upgrades. Additionally, each Columbia Edition Jeep comes with a complimentary Columbia parka.

  i had a 1999 jepp grand cherokee limited, sold that and bought a 2004 jeep grand cherokee limited, I love it 100 times better then my old one.

  Just got a 2004, graphite Overland with GPS. Traded in my 2001 Limited This is a sweet ride. Much better seats than in the Limited. Side support and heating function much better.

  THIS IS THE 6TH RED JEEP I HAVE HAD IN THE PAST 12 YEARS AND IT IS BY FAR THE BEST. THEY ARE ALL WONDERFUL BUT THE "OVERLAND" IS ABSOLUTELY A CLASSIC. I LOVE THE SUN ROOF, THE 10 CD EXCHANGER, AND THE COMFORT. I AM IN HEAVEN WHEN I DRIVE IT BECAUSE IT IS SO EASY TO DRIVE, EVEN ON SNOWY ROADS. I HAVE NO FEAR WHEN I AM DRIVING MY OVERLAND.

  This is my 2nd Jeep Cherokee and this 2004 model is roomy and fun to drive - The cargo area seems larger than the previous model I had (1993)and that was an 8 cyl. This 2004 model is a 6cyl - full of power, control and smooth driving. As for the mileage - I have been getting approximately 15.6 miles per gallon - and that is with the air conditioning is on and driving on the average of 318 miles per tank Overall 0 I must say that this is the car to have - it is a beautiful work of pride and dedication that the auto manufacturer has built.   We have had no problems with our jeep and it is fun to drive.It drives well and handles like a dream.I like the interior best of all.It is just a good looking reliable and fun ride.

  Prior to owning the 04 jeep grand cherokee, special edition, i owned an Infinit QX4. I will have to say that the grand cherokee feels more solid and has more interior comfort than the Qx4. althought the Qx4 had more bells and whisles...i am enjoying the grand cherokee for its comfort, design and reliability.

  Weve had the Jeep for about 2 months and recently took it on a 2,800 mile trip. It rides good for an SUV and the milage on the interstates varied from 18.3 to 20.8 based on speed. We drove it between 70 and 80 MPH most of the time.

  Have not had a single problem. Just drove from Chicago to Key West and back without a hitch. After 10,000 miles am actually achieving 21.6 mpg at highway speeds (70+) Actually achieved better mileage than a 95 (same model) with a six cylinder 4.0

  45k perfection - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  I have owned my gc for one year and at 45k miles with zero problems, I ave.19.7 to 20.9, best at 65 on a trip from calif to denver,co. with 21k miles, ave mpg stayed at 21.5. Tires have been rotated every 3.5k and have a long way to go before changing consideration. Brakes are at 50 percent front and 75 percent rear. Gets washed every sat.morning and looks and rides like a dream. I drive my gc an ave of 3.5k miles a month on so.cal freeways trafic and all, no better car for the money and comfort.
