Overview & Reviews
The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the pioneers that ushered in the modern midsize SUV in the early 1990s. Jeep has always wanted the Grand Cherokee to be maneuverable enough for urban duty, roomy enough for family duty, stylish enough to take out on the town and capable enough to tow your toys or shuttle your passengers to a remote campsite. Modern Grand Cherokees are far more refined than the early models, but they're no less versatile.
Unlike most other traditional SUVs, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has always been built using a carlike unibody platform for superior on-road handling. Yet Jeep's strong reputation for off-road prowess is retained, thanks to the Grand Cherokee's advanced four-wheel-drive systems and capable suspension. It's a rare combination of attributes in a modern utility vehicle, as the Jeep is able to venture farther off the beaten path than competing crossover SUVs.

5th Jeep GC - 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Roger - June 13 - 10:00 amFun to drive best describes the 2009 Jeep GC. The X-package give the Jeep owner all the best and desired options. 2009 was the last year of the 4.7 engine which is an awesome performer. The ride is incredibly smooth, and the interior is roomy and functional.

Great Vehicle... Highly Recomended - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Ryan Fraser - June 11 - 11:06 pmShort history - I traded in a 2015 Tahoe LTZ for this car. Traded in the Tahoe with only 10,000 miles on it, after numerous problems, rattles, quality issues, etc. Even with taking a major loss on the Tahoe, I am still so glad to have purchased my Grand Cherokee. I have had the Jeep for exactly a year, and have just recently passed the 20,000 mile mark. I can honestly say this is the best car I have ever owned. Great ride quality, comfortable cabin, intuitive controls and features. The list goes on and on. The interior quality of the jeep makes my old top-of-the-line Tahoe look cheap. When driving over railroad tracks, the brand new Tahoe rattled like a tool box! Not my jeep - Not one rattle, even after 20,000 miles. This car is a blast to drive, and is very capable off road as well. The Air suspension is a great feature! Highly recommended!

Absolute Worst Vehicle and Overall Experience EVER! - 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By xyz33 - June 9 - 9:59 amBought a "pristine" 2007 Jeep GC (5.7 Hemi) used with about 35k miles less than a year ago. The vehicle has spent more time at the dealership service center than on the road. It stalls in motion and at stops without warning, causing power steering and brakes to go out. Ive taken the Jeep to two different dealerships a total of 6 times now and the stalling is worse than ever. I have also filed complaints with Chrysler and NHTSA, with no recourse (neither have even contacted me back). This is the most dangerous and unreliable vehicle on the road. With thousands of other people experiencing the same stalling issue, I guess it will take someones death before anyone takes action.

Reliable Grand - 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By 01traildriver - June 6 - 1:52 amI purchased my 2001 in 2002 with 13,000 miles on it. The only problem I had with it was the brake rotors warping, and the slotted rotors cured that. I took my Grand to numerous states for Jeep Jamborees and it performed great ! People at the Jamborees were amazed at the capability of the Grand. I had an ARB steel bull bumper, Old Man Emu shocks and springs, and a K&N filter system on it. It was comfortable on the street and trails. I traded it in 2008 when it had over 250,000 miles on it due to an incurable death wobble with the front axle.

Left me stranded 4 times the 1st 6 month - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By KimLippy - June 2 - 2:00 amReliability on this vehicle has been a nightmare; for this I should have purchased a used car. It is now on its FORTH battery with 8198 miles on it. To date they have not been able to figure out what the problem is. I would NOT purchase this car again new. Also, the inside lacks nooks to store things up front.

First Jeep - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Tony642 - June 2 - 2:00 amFirst in buying my Jeep, I used the Internet to do my leg work before I even went to any dealerships. Between Edmunds.com, cardirect.com, etc... I had 14 quotes. Once I had a good feel for the price I wanted to pay, I lined up test drives not only to check out the vehicle but to check out the dealerships. Some rate better than others. I spent little time in the dealership when I purchased my Jeep. Im very happy with it!

Jeep Review - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Gail Bratholt - June 2 - 2:00 amThe 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado is an excellent vehicle. I previously had a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado and traded it for the 2004 model. It is a very dependable vehicle.
