Overview & Reviews
The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the pioneers that ushered in the modern midsize SUV in the early 1990s. Jeep has always wanted the Grand Cherokee to be maneuverable enough for urban duty, roomy enough for family duty, stylish enough to take out on the town and capable enough to tow your toys or shuttle your passengers to a remote campsite. Modern Grand Cherokees are far more refined than the early models, but they're no less versatile.
Unlike most other traditional SUVs, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has always been built using a carlike unibody platform for superior on-road handling. Yet Jeep's strong reputation for off-road prowess is retained, thanks to the Grand Cherokee's advanced four-wheel-drive systems and capable suspension. It's a rare combination of attributes in a modern utility vehicle, as the Jeep is able to venture farther off the beaten path than competing crossover SUVs.

Weird check engine light situations - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Kai - July 15 - 2:50 pmEvery other week the check engine light goes on, either I have a catalytic converter issue or it is just a short circuit. A lot of dangerous blind spots. I would fire the guys who designed the car, it looks like cheap plastic stuff. Nice to drive, even though wind noise unbearable when going over 60 mph.

FENG SHUI - 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Is It Bootch? - July 15 - 2:00 amI believe its important to endure in a vehicle that makes you feel at home and suits your taste. If more people truly enjoyed their interiors they wouldnt be in such a mad rush to get the #&!! out of it. Instead they would enjoy their ride better and take it easier on the roads.

Dont even bother looking! - 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Alice G. - July 15 - 2:00 amLets see, where do I begin. My 02 Laredo has the 6-cylinder engine, which fails to measure up to most other v-6s in its class. Ever since the day after I purchased this vehicle, there has been a pronounced brake shudder when I brake (which has been fixed twice), and the transmission likes to make a clunk noise when I stop at a stoplight. This is my second Jeep, and compared to my old 95 Laredo, this one sucks! After this year I will sell it for the measly trade-in value that its worth and buy a Toyota.

Jans Jeep - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By rmpollock - July 15 - 2:00 amI traded a 2003 Tahoe for this 2004 Columbia Edition Grand Cherokee. My wife has been totally satisfied with the ride and power of the 4.7 liter HO motor. We get a pretty good gas mileage average of 20 mph on the highway and about 17.6 in town. We have not found anything about the vehicle that we do not like.

Great fun vehicle - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By smurkus - July 15 - 2:00 amThis is my first SUV. It is smaller than the van I got rid of...but what a fun vehicle. Runs like a watch, goes like crazy with the high outout V-8. Leahter interior is so soft and comfortable. GPS system works great. I do love to drive this vehicle and bought a Jeep roof carrier as well as a bike carrier from the dealer. Also just had installed the Blue Tooth Cell phone option which is incredible! Would like a little more interior room but overall what a great incredible awesome ride!

Good experience - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Ness - July 14 - 10:06 pmMy experience was very pleasant. Although it consumes a lot of gas. It is a great car that many people told me not to get because it was American, but the truth is that in my 3 years owning it, I havent needed to do any repair to it

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L 4X4 - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By mopar1991 - July 13 - 3:37 pmLove my Jeep. Bought it used August 2011 and have had nothing but good from it so far. Everything worked when i got it, only thing that doesnt now is my rear park assist system, for some reason when i put her in reverse, all the red lights show up and it beeps, but thats it no big deal, cheap fix. Looks great, mean on the road ;) Great four wheel drive system, but thats expected from Jeep. Some people complain about the hard surfaced interior in areas but i love it because its durable and not cheap. My only complaint is wheres the snow? I live in Minnesota and its been a weak winter, hardly any snow. Thats the main reason i got this beast.
