  • Door Handles - 2010 Hyundai Sonata

I have a 2010 Hyundai Sonata and it sucks. 3 of the car door handles have broken off in the last month. They will not pay for them. I have read other reviews and this is a on going problem. Hyundai tried to say they havent heard of this before. But I guess they havent read the reviews. I will never buy another on. my son has a 2008 and he has had many other problems. Alternator is only one of the problems he has had with him.

  • Excellent car!!!! - 2010 Hyundai Sonata

I now have 17, 000 miles on my Sonata. It is a great performer. I have owned Hondas, Nissans, Chevys and Mazdas in the past. The Hyundais quality, ride and performance is equal and better than the competitors(in my opinion). I rent cars to save miles and I always enjoy coming home to my Sonata!!!

  • Great Midsize Car for the Price - 2010 Hyundai Sonata

Have this car less than a month. Very nice ride when the road is not too bumpy, the designers should travel on Pennsylvania roads to fine tune the suspension. Superior interior design, & comfortable seating. Gas mileage seems to be 26-27MPG so far. Overall Im pleased. Got a good price with a $2500 rebate and a $1000 rebate with my 07 Toyota Corolla trade in. Interior very roomy.

  • Great Value - 2010 Hyundai Sonata

After 2200 miles, I am very satisfied with this car. The 4 cylinder has plenty of power for my needs. Fuel economy is impressive for a car its size, 27-29 MPG, mixed driving, in an area with a lot of hills. Very comfortable, great legoom in the back seat for the kids. I will typically keep a car over 100k miles, so low lifetime cost of ownership is a big factor. The 2.4 liter engine has a timing chain, so there are no expensive TB canges to worry about. Auto transmission service interval up to 100k mi.

  • 2nd Sonata - 2010 Hyundai Sonata

I had an 06 Sonata and loved it. Unfortunately it was totaled in a wreck. I came out of the wreck with only an abrasion on my wrist from the air bag going off. I didnt even test drive another car. Bought a 10 Sonata and love the improvements from the 06. The added subtle chrome on the exterior (limited model) and the redesigned interior is awesome. I owned a Honda before my 06 Sonata, what an over-rated vehicle. The fit, finish and overall quality was poor (it felt & looked cheap). The fit, finish and quality of the Sonata is second to none. Hyundai has come a long since they first came to the US. Remember the first Hondas and Toyotas? I think my Sonata has a lot of class.

  • Hankook Tires - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

Great car, fun to drive. The main problem are the Hankook tires as they wore out in less than 1 year. Only 18,000 miles on car and now I need to spend $600.00 for new tires. hankook tires would NOT even pro-rata tires. Avoid these tires, absolute JUNK!

  • Not So Bad After All - 2010 Hyundai Sonata

I had my heart set on a 2010 Kia Forte EX, but due to financing issues I got the Hyundai Sonata, and I must admit Im completely BLOWN AWAY! The Sonata I got was a former rental so it was well taken care of and the price was amazing! I did really good going up Interstate 5, it handles very well, but can be a little shaky on tight turns. The interior is nice and has plenty of room for my daughters infant seat in the back seat, and it has a HUGE trunk. I love that it comes standard with all the bells and whistles that are optional on other brands (ie. XM radio, CD/MP3, air conditioning, power locks and windows). Overall not a bad buy. I really like my Sonata! Great car for HWY driving.

  • 2010 Preowned Former Rental - GREAT DEAL - 2010 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

It isnt often that I buy a car new off the lot. I saw this 2010 in the preowned area and inquired. It was a former rental which at first most people balk at when seen. I will say that I will never buy a used car that WASNT a rental first. It was immaculate, like new and had 30,000 miles on it. The dealer had all the maintenance records and CARFAX report on-site. The rental company changed the oil every 3,000 miles and did all manufacturer recommended maintenance religiously. I have had the Sonata a week now and it drives wonderfully. The handling is fine for a car of its size. Also, Hyundai allows the transfer of the 10/100,000 to another owner; so I still have 30,000 miles left to go.BRAVO

  • Its a car thats good at being a car. - 2010 Hyundai Sonata

The 2010 Hyundai Sonata (5th gen) is the car you want to get if youre shopping in the midsize/family car segment. It has what you want for the right price - about $5000 lower than its competitors. The powertrain is responsive, steering is slow but acceptable, the interior and trunk are very roomy, and nothing seems out of place. The exterior isnt too radical and the interior is nicely designed.
