I have always had smaller cars for fuel efficiency. I drive 80 miles round trip to work. I am so glad I bought this car,. It gets better millage than my mini and the suzuki sx4, and the comfort is so much better. It has so much pep, i didnt expect it with the 4 cyl. The ride is true comfort and interior is awesome. The exterior is what caught my eye originally and everyone else s too. what a great value. do your self a favor and buy this car

  • Dont judge a book by its cover - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

This was not exactly a case of love at first sight. I needed a car for a weekend trip, and sitting in the rental lot, the Sonata was a blocky, nondescript presence. Like most cars in this area at this time of year, it looked as if it had been driven through a salt mine. Happily, my first impression was completely off base. If you want a classy set of wheels at a reasonable price, then this is the car for you. The gas mileage is improbably good. I was actually snivelling a little when I had to turn the keys back in.

  • Noise - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Shortly after receiving my Sonata, I noticed a burning smell in my garage. Then I looked under the car and it was undercoated. I sent a letter certified to the CEO noting the undercoating and I stated the only reason a car is undercoated in this day and age is to either reduce noise or eliminate vibration. Since I vever received a response, I sent a copy via regular mail. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from a women but she had no clue of what I was trying to convey. (The sonata supposed to have 14 anti coression emersions, more protection than a M-Benz) She said that she would have to contact engineering and would get back to me. She never did.

I just got my revised bill for my car insurance. It went down $300! High crash ratings. High residual value. Better reliability. Its all adding up to a smart purchase. Anyone else s bill go down?

  • Feel so good - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Ive driven my Sonata for just 1 month but its enough to be happy for my choice.

  • Suspension Lets car down - 2011 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

Ive had the car for 1 yr now with about 15k mi. This is my 13th car owned, and I really like a lot of things about this car. The engine is very powerful for a 4cy, but can be a bit noisy. Like all the features for the price and the styling inside & out. Have 3 major gripes, tires are extremely noisy over certain surfaces, can be really annoying but only over certain surfaces. But the main problem is the suspension, after careful thought it is unacceptably firm. Car hits potholes really, really hard, feels horrible. Enough to the point that I dont enjoy the car b/c of it. Lastly steering is lifeless and vague. Think I would have enjoyed the GLS or Limited more, but Se does look great!

  • Supercruise Sonata! - 2011 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

Owned a month now, driven on average 50 miles a day. Startling gas mileage. Registered 51 mpg at 55 mpg Cruise off. Averages 37+mpg at 75! Acceleration is outstanding! Entering freeway dedicated "throttle up" results in very rapid acceleration beyond normal freeway speeds without effort. By no means a "powerhouse" muscle car, this sonata evokes a sensation of an efficient modern fighter jet capable of near effortless "supercruise" 90-100 mph (easy) at which point steering feedback really becomes near perfect.

  • Amazing car - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

This is the third Hyundai I have owned, going back to 2003. These cars just keep getting better, but I am really stunned at the quality of this car, the value for the price, and the performance. We opted for the SE turbo model, and the fact that this car is pushed along with such authority by a 2 LITER engine that gets 23/33 mpg is really almost hard to fathom. This car gives you everything: family practicality, safety, beautiful design, and it is very, very quick. The interior is comfortable, functional, and impeccable in its construction. I gave it a five for reliability (hard to give a score in that category after 110 miles) because my two previous Hyundais were fives; very reliable.

  • I love this car - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

The 2011 Hyundai Sonata is a Great!! We rented a car about 3 weeks ago and it happened to be the 2011 Sonata, We fell in love with it immediately. We decided to buy one 6 days ago. Its great on gas and the exterior is perfect, so many people stare and some even ask about it. We are so pleased dwith this product. The basics that come with the car are unreal. If we would have purchased another car in its class we would have payed extra for little things like the ipod connection and bluetooth capability, etc. The only thing I would love to change is the horn. It is very weak. But that is such small issue for all the good that this car has to offer. We are so satisfied and the $$ is right?
