  • Beautiful Sonata - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

My husband tried to talk me into another brand car but I just loved the looks of the 2011 Sonata. It rides and drives so nice that you forget you are in a small car as we have always owned SUV. We are so happy with our beautiful Sonata.

I call it my sonata sienna because I really loved the looks of that van but when I discovered the sonata I was really impressed! I forgot about my sienna and went straight for the sonata. I purchased that for a steal deal I bought it for $24,112. And the sticker was $27,445. My payment is $347 a month for almost a limited. Not bad. Ive had no problems with it at all and Ive already had for two months. Its roomy, stylish, reliable everything a mother wants in a vehicle. I was a van mom but forget Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Dodge, Kia all of them I love my sonata and I recommend it to anyone. Trust me:)

  • Hard to beat for the money - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

This is my first luxury sedan in my 33 years of driving. My wife said it was time for me to get a "grown up" car as Ive been into performance cars my entire life. I thought Id hate it, but after 2 months am I glad I listened to her. The electric power steering is a little strange to get used to, but thats one of my few complaints. Above 40MPH this things way faster than you would expect. My last car (Dodge SRT-4) didnt even have cruise, so all these creature comforts are taking some getting used to. Im a pretty agressive driver and yet my overall fuel mileage is staying around 25mpg. I could have spent a lot more, but Im glad I gave Hyundai a chance.

  • Wandering Sonata Syndrome - 2011 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

Ive had my Sonata SE for 3 week. Next week is the third visit to the dealer for what Jalopnik called "Wandering Sonata Syndrome". Search "wandering" on Jalopnik for a full explanation. I would not buy a Sonata until this fix this issue... if they can. Its been an issue since 2010. The dealers have no idea how to fix it. Its a serious design flaw that causes your car to wander on the road and not drive straight. My car pulls right when you let off the accelerator. And, it pulls left when you are on the accelerator. Needless to say, I am happy to live in California with a good Lemon Law. Too bad Hyundai still has issues... I thought they had moved beyond their past.

  • Great Car - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Just finished a round trip to Indiana from Florida. Great ride and 35.8 MPG, all anyone could ask from this car. Car received many looks from other drivers.

  • After a month, I still love this car - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I have had this car a month and still love it. I test drove the Ford Fusion, Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry, and Honda Accord (all 2010 models) in addition to the Sonata Limited that I purchased. I liked the Accord and Sonata best, and could have purchased the Accord XLE for about $23,800. The Sonata and Accord have much different drives. Ultimately, I paid $25,300 for the 2011 Sonata, because I liked the styling both inside and out more than on the Accord. Plus the Sonata Limited had a few more bells and whistles than the Accord. Several people have stopped me to ask about the car. I really think that Hyundai is becoming the Toyota and Honda of 20-30 years ago.

  • Hyundai Sonata GOT IT! - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I cannot say enough good things about this car! I have traded my Mercedes E- class due to poor traction in snow despite with new tires(rear wheel drive). I have researched and test drove Accord and Mazda, but Sonata was far better car. I was hesitant with purchase due to resale value and design. But resale value is up par with Japanese competitors and its design is turning peoples head. I have never had that with Mercedes. The car is solid, I often catch myself driving at 80mph, thinking about 50 mph. It has everything including pinch protection and LED ambient light and this is base GLS model. I think Hyundai will over take Honda and others in 4-5 years, like Samsung and LG vs SONY.

  • MPG? - 2011 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

I traded in my Accord for a Sonata, one reason was the 35 MPG hwy rating. That beat my Accord by 3 MPG. Unfortunitly, Im getting less gas mileage. My driving habits are the same so Im not sure how Hyundai earned that 35 MPG rating?? Other than the MPG issue, I like the Sonata.

  • OMG its a Hyundai - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Ive sold cars for years, (BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, Toyota, Honda) my children are getting bigger and was looking for a 4 dr sedan that would be comfortable for them, but not boring for me w/o breaking the bank. I was considering Accord, altima, mazda6, and Camry. All were very good, but didnt wow me. The new sonata has it all; head turning looks, huge interior space, great handling, over 35 mpg highway and a luxury class feel and design. This car competes with others 2x the price. Im constantly getting remarks from BMW, Lexus, and infinity owners. Dont hesitate a minute to get this car!
