  • Love my new Sonata! - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I traded in my 2008 Sonata SE for this new 2011 Sonata SE. What a difference! The 08 Sonata was a good reliable vehicle. The new on is all that plus beautiful to look at with additional features (Bluetooth, IPod jack, 18 in tires, keyless entry) that make this a real pleasure to own and drive. Definitely a great decision, to upgrade to this vehicle.

  • 3rd Update - Still Outstanding - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

After 10 months of ownership, I like this car more and more each month. Just returned from a trip from Columbus, NC to Leesburg, VA. 488 miles each way. Using mainly Interstate 81 I was able to drive at the 70 miles per hour speed limit. Computed my mpg using my hand calculator. I averaged 36.5 mpg on the trip there and 35.7 on the return trip. This is an outstanding car and no one should have any fear of purchasing one. My dealer is Dave Edwards Hyundai of Spartanburg, SC. Fair, honest and great service best describes my dealer.

There is only one word great. After having 6 mustangs all high performance this car is one of the best I have had yet. It has all the power and all the quality I want. And getting 28 to 30 miles per gallon. Go go go go go Hyundai.

  • 2011 Sonata 2.0 T Limited - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Definitely worth the wait for the 2.0T. The 2.4 is probably adequate for most, but the turbo is worth extra cost for those wanting more. Limited package is great value.

  • Just brought home a 2012! - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

My wife and I were finally in the position to buy a new car. We were shopping for crossovers when my mother called me to tell me about the hail damage sale at the Toyota dealership. Thinking we may get a deal we drove a BRAND NEW Camry with hail damage that (white too, looked like a golfball) the air conditioning was inoperable on, was still priced out of our range. Disgusted, my wife and I decide "What the hell, were our lets look at a Hyundai" We were greeted and shown to the lot and just as the doors opened, there was a Sonata. We were in love at first sight. After driving the golf ball, and the Sonata within 15 minutes of each other, I had to have the car.

  • A lot of Car for the Money - 2011 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

What a car! The only drawback (if you can call it that) is I was use to the V6 power of my 2006 Sonata; but the 4- cylinder is not far behind and it gets allot better mileage. The car is just fun to drive and the Navigation/Infinity Stereo system are amazing. I put allot of mileage on my vehicles (96-mile round trip daily commute) and love all the amenities like voice activated hands free blue tooth to my Blackberry and access to the 4,000 songs on my IPod. ItÂ’s a phenomenal car for the money.

  • Total Unsure at this point - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

My new 2011 Hyundai SonataGLS Automatic purchased 8/13/2010 & Im not satisfied, I was at first until I notice how loud/idle the car was parked just running not to mention hearing a big bang sound when I shift the car in reverse and drive the car now act as though it doesnt want to move past 20/40 miles forcing me to push the gas pedal to the floor, this could have caused an accident while trying to get onto a major highway,The sales manager @ Porter Auto in DE says I may have gotten a bad batch of gas/we dont live in a perfect world Go figure, what a thing to say to a concern customer who spent $20k & put a nice down payment. They currently have the car, Im currently noting everything

  • The Accord Killer - 2011 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

1-Just purchased this week so no personal data on longevity of build quality or reliability; will review again at a later date 2-We came straight from the Honda dealership where my wife had just driven the exact Accord she wanted, highest trimline, leather etc, favorite exterior color ect: she would have bought it on the spot but I asked her drive the Sonata first based on good reviews by Edmunds and Consumer reports 3-The instant I sat in the Sonata I could tell the seat was more comfortable with better lumbar support 4-Ride was quieter with much less road vibration on intersate and overall a more refined experience

  • Great Ride - 2011 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

Was pleasantly surprised during the test drives. previously drove an Acura; that was nice; this is better. Interior layout is tops; GPS is a snap to operate, as is bluetooth and XM radio. Decked out, this is a great ride for the price. Then theres the warranty - as good as it gets in the industry.

  • Very pleasantly surprised - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Was driving past the dealership as they were unloading their first Sonatas. I pulled in for a closer look, and the rest is history. I had a 2007 Camary SE, which I absolutely loved, but mileage was getting pretty high. The Sonata SE has much more in the way of features than my Camry, And cost $3000.00 less than I paid for my Camry 4 years ago. Awesome Vehicle. Cannot say enough about it.
