  • Cheap steering componet/ build quality - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I really hate driving this car 1st off the steering its controlled by a electronic steering pump not the traditional pump with fluid and the car just moves all over the road and i do not like it at all.

  • OMG - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Ill try not to get too excited and...well, I give up. This car is simply AMAZING in EVERY ASPECT! Excellent MPG? Check. Great Looks? Check. Good Power? Check. Great Interior? Check. Value? Youve got to be kidding me. I dare anyone to come remotely close with a car that is more pleasing to the eye and features at a price thats say, $10,000 MORE than this GEM of a car. When Hyundai first came to U.S., I made the mistake of owning an Excel. Swore that Ill never buy another car from them. Well, how times have changed! BTW, Ive owned Lexus, Lincoln, Ford, Toyota, Subaru, Suzuki, Jeep and Honda. Nothing, nothing compares at any price. I just love driving or simply staring at my car

  • 19K and running strong - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I bought my Hyundai in Jan and have put over 19K miles on it so far. I have changed the oil and rotated tires. This car has preformed wonderfully. The Gas mileage is wonderful and the fit and finish is very good. My engine has not had any issues and makes no strange noises. The seats are comfortable and I have driven long distances and did not arrive tired or beat up. The XM radio and stereo work really well.

  • Good-looking, comfy road car - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Other than a bit too much road noise, doors that are heavy and seem hard to keep open to exit, this has been a great road car: very dependable, comfortable on long trips, holds LOTS of luggage (I moved my elderly mother from her home in the country to an apartment in town and couldnt believe how much I could get in this car with the seat backs down in back), good speakers, handy front-seat storage, and enough power to go over the mountains, yet maintain a decent mileage.

  • Fantastic Car - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Before deciding on the Sonata, I test drove the Camry, Fusion, Acura TL and TSX and a Honda Accord. The Sonata won hands down in all categories. Better ride, quieter both in town and on the highway. I traded in my older Acura TL,which was an excellent car, for the Limited w/Nav. So far, Im averaging 27 mpg in mostly city driving. Im still getting used to the voice command feature since Ive never had that feature before. While my Acura TL was a great car to drive, the Sonata is fun, makes you want to drive it. Drop dead looks and causes people to look at it wherever I go. Very satisfied with the car and the excellent dealership experience.

just got the car today. drove it off the lot and pulled to the left like other reviewer pointed out. dealer aligned it and i drove away. still pulled to the left. going back to the dealer this weekend so they can try to fix it. always have the Lemon Law. other than the above everything else is great.

  • Who Would Have Thought - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I never considered a Hyundai when shopping. I wanted a mid-sized sedan for my wife to use for business and as a car for the two of us to use for weekend use. I looked at the Ford Fusion (I really wanted an American company), Chevy Malibu, Toyota Camry, and the Nissan Altima. The Malibu lost out because it is tacky and Im still ticked about the bail-out. The Camry was boring. The others, comparably equipped, were thousands more than the Sonata. After reading all the reviews and watching a segment on Motor Week Magazine, I test drove and bought the Sonata. Im over six feet tall ant this car has plenty of room. Love the gas mileage. I cant rate the reliability yet.

i used to drive 2007 camry v6 SE for 4years and decided to get a sonata ltd w/ navi just because it has all the features i wanted, ride is smooth, suspension is bit stiff but i like it. after few hundred Km of driving. i like this car better than Camry! except that Camy was V6 with more HP and torque.

  • Exxxxxcellent - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Ive waited 3 months to do this. We have now put 7K miles on her and I am astounded. Averaging 38 MPG and havent got a single negative thing to say. Still get head turns all the time. This is the most comfortable car we have had (17 cars in last 35 years). Incredible comfort. Cornering and braking are smooth as silk. My in-law has the Infiniti 35 and I actually think ours is more comfortable. Lots of room (were average build) in front & back. Huge trunk space. Dealer gave us lots of perks, including nitrogen in tires, which I have had in past and believe adds to fuel economy and tire wear. The only possible negative point: its my wifes primary car. Do yourself a favor, you cant go wrong.
