  • LOUD - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I purchased my Sonata 3 months ago. About a month ago I noticed that it was running really load - almost like an exhaust leak. I brought it into the dealer to find nothing wrong with it. It didnt make this noise when I purchased it. Four other people at the dealership listened to it and compared to other Sonatas/ I am told this is how it is, new fuel injected systems.I hate the noise and dont want the car for the money I paid. Should run as smooth as the day I bought it.

  • Best car for the $$$ on the market now - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I recently traded my sports car in which I miss because my commute now is 80 miles round trip 4 days a week. This car seemed perfect. I was considering the Jetta TDI until someone on the VW forums tipped me off on the new Sonata so I took one for a test drive. I am glad I did! It is more plush than my old BMW that was a lot more expensive. Cars just keep getting better and better and Hyuandi knocked one out of the park with this one. I also love the cruising range with the Sonata. On my first two tanks of gas I have averaged 33mpg in mixed driving. Not bad for an engine not yet broken in. I also love the fact that I got 500+ miles on my last tank of gas compared to 300 in my old car

  • BEAUTIFUL, FUN TO DRIVE , I LOVE IT! - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

My last two cars were Cadillac CTSs, I spent countless hours researching online and took many test drives, searching for a more fuel efficent and less costly alternative to the CTS. The 2011 Sonata fits the bill. My Black exterior with gray/black interior Sonata is fun to drive, gets great gas mileage (averaging 32mpg) and the Bluetooth is so cool! Im attracting lots of attention and comments. Im very happy I decided on this car, be sure to test drive one.

  • Very Good, but not quite there - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Overall, this is a very good car. I like it better than the Honda Accord. But after driving it for a year, it has lost its appeal. There is a slightly cheap feel that does not improve over time. The plastic parts of the seats and dash scratched easy and made the car look kind of trashy. Same with the paint and finish outside; and I really take care of my vehicles. Rear visibility is not very good. It is easy to overlook when sitting in a new car, but over time it really gets annoying. We traded the Sonata in after 13 months and 25,000 miles. It took a $6,500 dollar hit. Overall, it is a very nice car. Perfect for a young family. But I am old and want something better.

  • Totally Impressed - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Smooth comfortable ride, plenty of power, and very sedate on the highway. Many people are asking me about the car. They rave about it more than I do! Striking Good Looks, and Great Hyundai Reliability and Warranty

  • Excellent Car - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

My family and I loved this car so much. My mother bought a fully loaded "limited" and my brother and I bought a fully loaded "se". We even bought an extra 2011 gls. Are we crazy. "yes". Crazy about this car. It has the looks, fun to drive and all the goodies that put its competition to shame. Go test drive each one. All (3) have a little difference in the way they drive. Also. In regards to the recent review about a "failed transmission". Hyundais warrantys would fix his transmission issue or give him a new car. Because he didnt mention this. Makes me Wonder if it is a "bogus" review.

Went from a Infinity G35 to the Sonata SE. I am extremely impressed with the quality and features. I do not need the HP of the G35 anymore. This car is absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend it.

This is my 13th car, have had toyota, ford, honda, subaru, mazda, acura, bmw and now hyundai. Have 20k mi on the car, wrote a review when I first brought it and gave it overall a seven , thought overall it was solid, major complaints where harsh ride, lack of road feel. But liked style, value, power. Now a year and a half and 20k, i give the car around a three. Ride is still way to hard, have had a lot of mechanical issues, a lot of recalls, poor service, build quality is very bad. First one of all the cars ive owned that i could not recommend.

Do not buy it until HD has parts to sell. I needed a bumper cover to repair front damage, my body shop ordered 2 weeks ago and still waiting. HD should learn that selling is not all. I would not buy HD in future and recommend anyone I know not to buy it.

  • Excellent car for the value - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Without a doubt the best sedan under $25k in the market today. Hyundai has sure stepped up the quality in the 2011 Sonata. It drives nicely and is comfortable. The sound system is excellent and I love the bluetooth connection. If you are looking for a fun, quality, and good looking car then the Sonata is your car to test drive.
