  • Styling and bang for the buck cant be beat. - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

This is a lot of car for the $$! The styling is a head-turner. Not only have people stopped to ask me about the car, but when I see one on the road ahead of me, I mistake it for a Jag. At 11,000 miles, mileage has improved and returns a consistent 38mpg on the open road at 70+ mph. Slow down to 55, and the reading jumps to 40+ mpg! City driving returns about 24mpg if there is a little freeway driving mixed in.

  • Fantastic Car! - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

It is so fun to drive, I love this car. I cant believe I got so many great features (ipod jack, XM, bluetooth, leather, etc.) for such a comparatively low price. My previous car was a 2002 Camry XLE and 8 years ago I paid $7000 more for that car than I just did for my new Sonata. The gas mileage is outstanding. In mixed highway and city driving Im averaging between 30 and 32.5 mpg. Plus this is a slick looking car. My friends all love it. I have seen people stop and stare at it; it must be those fabulous 18 inch wheels!

  • Just a great car compared - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Im new to the mid-size sedan segment therefor completely unbiased based on history. I drove EVERY competitor and nothing stacked up close to the sonata! 3 months and 6K miles later I still absolutely love it. I get 30 mpg COMBINED and routinely 40+ mpg on the highway. 200 HP is PLENTY of power for this light car to get up the hills (I live in Colorado) No quality issues so far, actually Im very impressed with the quality. No rattles, no squeaks, very quiet, very comfortable, Im 6ft and can easily fit sitting behind myself. I got 10 yr 100,000 mile BUMPER-2-BUMPER warranty out of the deal. I cannot say enough great things about this car. Bluetooth is fast to connect, XM is great. VALUE

  • Initial thoughts... - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Just purchased the Limited 2.0T model tonight... put 75 miles on it and must say I like it. The car is quiet, smooth, peppy and is averaging about 26 mpg so far in a mix of driving. Love the bluetooth interface and all the luxury items you get with the Limited trim. I think someone said headroom was tight in this car in some review...not true. Im 62" and have plenty of head and leg room. Do wish it had memory seats though. I still think its the best bang for the buck on the market...hands down. Ill update again after Ive driven it for 6 to 12 months and well see if anything changes.

  • Couldnt be happier! - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

We test drove many cars including the Mazda 6, the Ford Fusion and the Ford Taurus. None of the vehicles came close to offering what the Hyundai Sonata did, except the Sonata was priced below the rest of those models! The warranty, the Hyundai Assurance program, and the included features (rear heated seats, more leg room than anyone would ever need, etc.) all made this car an easy choice for us to purchase.

  • My Search for a great Mid Size value - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I looked at and test drove the Sonata,Jetta,Camry,Accord,Fusion, and the Mazda6. My runner ups were the Jetta and Mazda6. The others were boring or too pricey for me to get the features I wanted. Most of all I liked the Sonata for its looks both on the outside and inside. I loved the way it handles, and I love all the features that come standard with the SE model. The Mazda6 was very responsive as well but did not have the features I wanted in the model and price compared to the Sonata SE. The Sonata looks the best to me of all the others that I test drove. I looked at the Buick Regal but did not test it because of the price. I am now a very happy owner of a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata.

  • City MPG very poor - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I bought my 2011 Sonata Aug 2010 and felt Iwasnt getting the best mpg in the city. Ilive in Philadelphia. I havent driven outside of the city with it yet. However, Im getting 16 mpg city driving and I feel like that is very low mileage. Other than that I love my car!

  • Great Car - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I was looking for a car to replace my Acura TL. I was looking for something affordable that had alot of options that wouldnt cost a fortune. Stopped by the Hyundai dealership and loved the new style of the Sonata. Drove it to my wifes office and had her drive it back to the dealership. She is a car snob and always made fun of Hyundais so I figured it was a no go. She Loved the car and we bought it that night. We have over 6000 miles on the car with no issues. If I had it to do over again the only thing I would change is purchase the 2.0 turbo (wasnt available at time of purchase). Previous cars owned C230 Mercedes, Infinity G35, Buick Enclave, 2008 Chevy Malibu, 2006 Chevy ImpalaSS.

  • Best Value - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Ive only had the Sonata SE a few weeks now and I am very impressed with the overall value of my purchase. I just dont think there is a better value on the road today.

  • Top Contender - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

After extensive research, I purchased the Sonata Limited 2011 (no nav) because of its style, reputation, ratings and price. The 4 cylinder engine provides more than adequate power and gives excellent fuel economy while still remaining quiet under nearly all driving conditions. I owned/drove toyotas, accords, a 325 bmw and others and this Sonata (so far) is better than those cars with better styling and a better price. The cabin is comfortable, roomy and quiet (Im 64")and the Limited gives you all the bells and whistles anyone could need. Over rough road surfaces, you will feel some of those bumps more like an Accord but generally the ride is surprisely smooth and quiet. Check this car out.
