  • 1st Time Hyundai Sonata Owner - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I have only had the car for eight days but I have a little over 400 miles on it, and Im very pleased so far. The car handles well and has an excellent ride! A very comfortable car indeed... My son calls it "The Luxury Cruiser"... I want to add that I had a 2001 Honda Accord and before that I had a 1993 BMW 325 IS.. I keep cars 8- 10 years, but this Hyundai is certainly as fine a vehicle as the Honda and BMW. Great power from the engine, excellent gas mileage, lots of features like Bluetooth, Dual Zone Climate Control, etc.. I test drove it and 4 hours later, I bought it. I also looked at the new Accord but the seats are way too firm.. I liked the Fusion but the Sonata has more room, etc.

  • Best Car Ive Ever Owned - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

We purchased our Sonata Limited in November 2010. The car is approaching 5000 miles now with mostly around town driving but several 250 mile plus trips. We moved into the Hyundai from a 1999 Toyota Avalon. We had test driven almost every model out there. Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Avalon, Mazda, Ford, Chevy Nissan. Everyone had issues that kept us going back to the Sonata. I think the word here is "balance". This car is a value and I was willing to spend a whole lot more. I did not want to pay for Lexis, BMW, Acura features. We dont feel anything is missing. We did not opt for the Navigation system. Our Magellan GPS works great in the cubby below the HVAC controls.

  • Great Car / Great Value - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I test drove the BMW 328i, Acura TSX, Audi A4, Volvo S40, and the Lincoln MKZ. Went with the Sonata... It has all the features (or more), better syling, and more room than any of those cars, at a price they cant touch!

  • Better than comparable competitors - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Drove new Accord, Camry. Looked at Altima, Malibu, Mazda, Subaru. None made the cut! Test driving the Sonata, salesperson said to adjust seat to my liking. I liked it! I wanted one! Ordered a GLS but a carrier came in with 3 Sonatas. The white was my choice and the upgrade to the next level was well worth it! So far, gets great mileage, like the radio-hooked on XM, Great looks, quality is a 10, great handling. A cat is a lucky critter as the brakes saved him! If dealer service matches the car, Ill be in high cotton!

  • Pulls Left !!!!! Hyundai Cant Find a Fix - 2011 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

I was very excited to purchase my Limited in October, but became extremely frustrated that the car continually pulls to the left. I have had it to the Dealer three times to have it fixed. Not only did they not fix it, Hyundai wont even acknowledge that this is a probem with the new 2011 Models. Google "2011 Hyundai Sonata Pulls Left" BEFORE you buy one.

  • An excellent car so far - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Purchased this 2011 2.0t several months ago. It now has 50k miles. It is quiet and performs very well, being fun to drive while also getting 30+ mpg. The interior quality of materials are much better than expected for a car at this price point. Will have to see how it holds up over time, but so far very impressed.

Very pleased with my new Sonata!!! I shopped the Toyota and Honda, they were left in the dust as far as quality, price, bang for my buck and nobody can beat my warrenty...

  • Best Value for a Sedan - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I traded in my 2006 Infinti G35x- I looked at Camry/Altima/Mazda6/Accord an Acura TSX. I honestly think this is the best looking car on the road- bar none- any class. The inside is very well put together. I got the Navy Blue/Gray leather. I would never consider a Hyundai until now- their reliability will be challenging Lexus/Acura soon- especially with their warranty. The performance is great for a 4 cylinder and I am getting a combo of 33 mpg (75% Highway). It has much more room than the other cars as well and the trunk is unreal. I got it for $23,500. Go drive it!

  • Traded my Camry - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I test drove this car 3 times, once with the GLS and twice with the limited and then test drove the new Camry. This car had the most features and the styling was awesome. Not to mention the price difference. I love the looks from people when they see it with "thumbs up" and people just wanting to check it out. I got the silver limited with chrome accents. Its a great looking car!

  • GLS 6MT - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Overall this is an an amazing car and an excellent value. I drive 400 to 500 miles a week on average and it is very comfortable and gets great gas mileage for the size. I am on my 7th tank of gas and averaging 31-32mpg. Gas mileage goes down quite a bit when speeds exceed 65 and I have gotten 35+ when driving 55-65mph with the cruise control on. Road noise is pretty low most of the time but the low rolling resistance tires can be rather loud on rough road surfaces. For the price this car is an amazing value and is fun to drive and very practical.
