I have had my Sonata now for nearly a year. I get many many comments how nice it looks and many comments about the paint job. Most people really like the style and design of the Sonata. In the year that I have had it. I have had no problems with it mechanically. I just need to change the oil regularly and rotate my tires for I have not only a ten year warranty but also tires for life. To me these features are very important. The dealership where I purchased it is people friendly and go out of their way to get you in and out without delay.

I purchased a 2003 Hyundai Sonata. 7 months later, with only 9300 miles on it, while driving on a very busy highway in Clearwater, Florida, my transmission blew. I had to get it towed back to the selling dealer. First I was told that they had to order a part, and see if the new part would take care of the transmission. After 4 days, I was then told the part they ordered would not solve the transmission problem, so they needed to put another transmission. I questioned several times, "a new transmission or a rebuilt/remanufactured. I was told a new transmission, when in fact it was a rebuilt one.

A great car to look at and a great car to drive. The v-6 has good power when accelerating and passing. The engine runs smooth at all speeds. the ride is great. You cant beat the warranty on this vehicle. So far at 30000 everthing is A OK.

  • And the winner is! - 2004 Hyundai Sonata

After driving all the big names like Toyota, Nissan, Saturn,Honda and Chrysler and comparing creature comforts, exterior styling and price for a comparable model, the only logical choice was the Sonata LX. Safety features galore, more than the others and at $4 to 8000 less. Hyundai has worked hard to make their products build quality better each year from their disasterious start. Nothing like a strong commitment to excellence!

  • Most bang for your buck - 2004 Hyundai Sonata

This is my second hyundai sonata, so I received the owner loyalty discount, making this this car about 5000 dollars cheaper than an accord or camry. It has a beautiful modern looking exterior and a very comfortable interior. The standard features were all I needed, and the automatic transmission has an optional manual shift which helps when getting onto the highway. If you want a solid, comfortable car for a much lower price than other midsize sedans, this is worth a look.

  • A Great Car at Any Price - 2004 Hyundai Sonata

I am sold on my Sonata, having put 25,000 miles on it in 7 months and had absolutely no problems. The fact that you can buy a car like this for $20,000 is incredible. A lot of "expert" reviews say that the Sonata isnt in the same class as Honda or Toyota, but my wife owns a Honda and I cant see any difference between the cars in fit, finish or performance. It has very little engine noise and the power to merge easily into traffic. The steering is responsive and the brakes are solid. The back seat and trunk are huge for a car of this size. I bought this car to drive it into the ground, but I have a feeling that it may outlast me.

People tell me that my car looks rich. Some have told me it looks like a BMW. I am very pleased with the pick up as far as speed goes. The leather seats are very easy to keep clean. The interior is very roomy. Its just a sharp car all the way around. As a matter of fact, my husband wants to get one.

  • First Hundai - 2004 Hyundai Sonata

Bought my first Hundai two days before Christmas. I would have liked the V6, but settled on the 4 cyl. Acceleration is more than sufficient. Ride is smooth; seats are comfortable; styling is superb. Combination highway & around town is 26 mpg which I consider excellent because the car hasnt even been broken in yet - 360 aggregate miles. With limited resources, I was very P&Q (Price & Quality) conscious. The price was right, the quality is apparent, & their warranty manifests the confidence of Hundais engineering for the next 10 years or 100,000 miles. As a discriminating buyer, I was completely sold on this car.

I love my Sonata!! It is fun to drive and a great looker! I traded in a 2000 Bonneville and never looked back. For the money and the options, I got such a great deal and it looks like a million bucks. I will never go back to a GM car again!

  • Best car I ever bought, other than my Honda - 2004 Hyundai Sonata
