  • "Korean Car" No Longer A Pejorative - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

This is not quite the cruiser my 2003 Accord V6 is, but it handles extraordinarily well, is extremely comfortable, has a great sound system and is beautiful inside and out. The engine is raspier than a V-6 off the line, but is among the quietest in its class at speed. Factoring in inflation, this car cost about $1,500 less than my Accord seven years ago, yet is better equipped. One thing I find quite interesting is that this car feels a little too flashy and floaty to say it emulates Japanese or European design. It is too well crafted to say it emulates American design. It is distinctly its own -- Korean. And after 25 years of selling in the U.S., that is finally a good thing for Hyundai.

  • Excellent Car! Sonata SE - Pacific Blue - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Okay so I drive a total of 84 miles to work 5 days a week. Before I got this Sonata I had to fill up ever 3rd day. "Believe it or not!" TODAY I can drive all 5days to work and still have about 40+ miles till empty, AMAZING. Oh and just so you all know the speed limit is 70 and I drive 76 mph on ECO gauge. I PROMISE you wont be disappointed in those highway miles. Take it for a spin and try it out, go with the SE 200hp its by far a winner in my book. Acceleration is ridiculous for this type of car, pass and go without a hitch.

  • So far, so good...great vehicle - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Have had car for 6 months, driven 17 k so far. I purchased the Limited model in Navy Blue with Tan Leather. I am routinely asked what kind of car is it and told it looks like a Mercedes. For what you get on this car, with leather, Navigation, the Infiniti stereo and the fuel efficiency..there is NOTHING close on the market. I was driving an Acura TSX before, a much smaller car that I paid more for, and was having to put 93 Octane in. This car blows away the Acura, and has SO much more for 15 k less. I am routinely getting 35 mpg on the Highway on 87 octane.

  • Awsome Car! - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

This car is amazing, recently traded in my jeep compass for it. Love the leather, it does not feel cheap some other models do. Love the gas milage as well, i am avering 27 combined highway and city. All the features are nice such as the steering wheel controls and reverse camera. I love the metallic paint, i have a white sonata and it glistens all the time. The only problem as stated before, is that it seems to want to pull to the left a little on its own. It happens more often at speeds between 20-40 though. Overall, great car with a smooth ride and great luxury features. I get asked all the time if it is really a hyundai, or a lexus or bmw

  • Love this car - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I switched over from a Toyota Corolla 2001 to a Hyundai Sonata 2011 GLS. I love it. When I drive down the freeway at 80 MPH it is a smooth ride. The engine appears great and everything about this car seems like it will last me a while. I am tall (63) which is why I needed a larger car. I have been very pleased. Also, I am the type to drive a car for 300,000 miles. I hope it will last me that long or even longer.

  • So Far, Very Good - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I was a Camry guy for years, having two in a row I kept for 9 years. After I started having problems with the brakes (and all the press), I decided it was time for a change. After 3.5 years (I bought the car in August of 2010), and 60,000+ miles, the car has done very well. The only problem was the battery did fail prematurely, but no other issues. The car is a beauty, I only paid 18K for it (base model), has great pickup, and handles a lot better than my Camry ever did!

  • Great car, poor dealer customer service - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Great car overall. Chrome around the grill is bubbling but dealer wont cover b/c the car is 1000 miles over warranty for paint/trim - although its very apparent it has been that way awhile.

  • Solid Car - Great Looking & Good Value - 2011 Hyundai Sonata
    By -

Have taken the car on a 700 mile road trip averaged 35 mpg and had a smooth ride. Never ever would have thought I would purchase a Hyundai in this lifetime but boy have they come a long way. Solid build, great look, and one pleased owner. Direct line 4 makes a difference good go power. Engine shifts smooth with the 6 speed trans and just hits 3000 RPM at 80 miles per hour (amazing). If you thinking about one, you honestly cant go wrong.
