  Its a pure pleasure to drive. Oh so comfortable! Definitely sufficient power. Unbelievable sound system with the navigation option. I only have a few minor complaints. 1) IPod connection should be "compartmentalized" to keep it out of view. 2) no outside temperature display when navigation map is on. 3) cannot select your destination using just a phone # as with Honda. 4) I dont think it recognizes voice commands for phone call. These are not major issues, however, & they did get everything else right. And of course they blow the competition away with their 5 year/60000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. They HAVE TO BUILD THEM BETTER!

  I cant wait to get up in the morning and drive this car. I had a 2002 and a 2006 Sonata all trouble free and enjoyable to drive but they do not compare to the style and performance of the 2011. I cant believe the low fuel consumption for a car this big and powerful acceleration. Too early to tell about reliability but if it is anything like my previous Sonata ownership I will be very happy. No matter where I go the car is a head turner. Most of my friends did not think it was a Hyundai. A lot of car for the money. The bluetooth is amazing and should be mandatory in all new cars. Just touch the button on the steering wheel and make or answer a call via the radio.

  I have 3K miles now and love this car, would recommend it to anyone, but here are the changes that the H engineers will be probably making. 1. Seating-power on both-cooling-higher. 2. Visibility will be improved. 3. More insulation-road noise is < than perfect 4. Will raise front end-especially in snow climates- accident waiting to happen. 5. Will include manly horn. 6. Will check seat light colored fabric for staining. 7. Will hold phone books in memory to prevent 6 minute continual downloads on bluetooth. 8. Should increase the price (of the GS) the car is worth more than sticker.

  Visiblity, windshield, horn, acceleration - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

  Immediately after the purchase, looking through the windshield was a distorted view, Feeling as if cars were coming into my lane on either side- especially the lower portion has a bad ripple, The dealer is replacing the entire windshield. There must be numerous cars that were produced with the same glass. Also the horn can not be heard in traffic, Also occasionally the acceleration issues. Also, the leather has started to loosen up and buckle on the seats, not a good grade of leather

  I thought being a 4cyl it would be a draw back..But let me tell you it gets every bit of 200hp!! Its Fast and Handle like a BMW I should know Ive had 3. My friends were right to recommend this car it has exceeded my expectations! GET NAVIGATION!

  I bought a limited turbo in iridescent silver blue with grey interior about a week ago. It has 600 miles on it today. This car is amazing. Feels like you are in a high end much more expensive car. Very quiet so far with no issues. Picks up speed in no time. Look out for my next post a few months into the new ride.

  I bought my Sonata in October and its been a great car. I recently was reminded on how good it really was. I was driving with my family a couple of weeks ago, when we we struck by another vehicle. We were t-boned at an intersection on the drivers side. Both front and rear airbags deployed and the car was considered a total loss. Fortunately, my family was fine, with a few bumps and bruises. I am grateful that the car protected us in such a violent crash. Needless to say, Im shopping for another Sonata. Thanks Hyundai!

  Outstanding Redesign & Value - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

  I traded in a 2009 Hyundai Sonata Limited. The new 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited is more than I expected. The car is more comfortable than any I have owned in recent past. At highway speeds it holds the road securely. The Radiant Silver exterior is handsome and the black leather interior is the perfect contrast. The Dimension sound system is clear and balanced and a huge improvement. The car has everything one could ask for except navigation. I have a Garmin GPS for that. What a great automobile. Hyundai does it right!

  I lease this car almost 2 months ago, Ive driven 1300 miles and so far its not what I expected as far mpg Im getting 16 to 17 mpg not better than a SUV and this is the main reason I got it beside its good looks, I called hyundai service and the answer was "its nyc traffic "I understand this but 16 to 17?
