For 2005, trim levels have been slightly revised, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a HomeLink remote transmitter has been added to the LX.

• Excellent warranty, pleasant highway ride, refined V6 engine, lots of storage space.

• Noisy four-cylinder engine, bland interior design and materials, tight rear-seat legroom, tepid handling.

  I have had the car for two days only and I like it. For this price it is wonderful. Smooth engine (not noisy like I read in some auto web sites) and enough room for driver and passengers. Its acceleration is great and suspension is good enough. For these features another car will cost you at least 5000 dollars more. I recommended this car to my friends.

  I purchased a 2005 GLS SV on 2/19/05. Same car as the LX sans leather seats and power driving seat. Everything else upgraded. Wow!....what a value...I financed $16K for a new vehicle. Give Camry and Accord a run for their money on all aspects and certainly beats them in value for the money. Resale is not as important to me as I will drive this for several years. I will be selling my 95 Accent @ 81k miles....too bad...its been flawless and gives me 35 MPG. Hyundai, you have a life-long new customer. Job well done.

  Weather strip along top of right top of door came loose also the wiper blade fillers came out on both wipers.

  The car has given me all that I asked for. Four adults sit in comfort. The AC and heat work well. The sound system could be better but all in all for the price you cant ask for more. I will buy it again and this is my third Sonata. I am looking forward to the body style change in 2006.

  I bought this car because I couldnt believe the features it had and the build quality for the price. Its cute like the Jag I wanted, 16" wheels contribute to a smooth quiet ride. I have 7500 miles in 4 months and no problems.

  Bought this honey with NO options. The LX is LOADED. Best buy at this price...$4-5,000 less than Accord or Camry. The editors rating here is a little off.

  The cost, warranty,appointments, and performance was just to compelling to pass up as we shopped for a second car. I was concerned about the engines responsiveness with a small V6, but was very pleasantly surprised.
