Overview & Reviews
The high-performance R/T model is dropped, although the new SXT offers virtually all of the go-fast goodies, including the 244-horsepower V6 and firmer suspension tuning. Music buffs will appreciate the new six-disc CD changer that replaces the former four-disc unit.
- Plenty of passenger and luggage capacity, agile handling, powerful engines.
- Dated ergonomics, blind spots when backing up, engine noise when pressed.

Fantastic - 2003 Dodge Intrepid
By Dog - August 16 - 12:15 pmI test drove about 12 used cars, and then stumbled into the SXT, which I had not even considered when I started looking. After I drove it once, I was sold. Car is all around fantastic. Power is great and handling is superior for this size of car. Braking is superb. Styling of exterior and interior are both acceptable.

Let down - 2003 Dodge Intrepid
By mammadee - August 10 - 2:00 amI purchased this car used. The car design is pretty, but beauty isnt what one needs to get back and forth to work. The car has been reliable, however it has no get up and go. It is sad when a piece of junk can get up to speed before you can. I must admit I am growing really tired of people honking for me to move faster. This car doesnt hold value either. I am so upside down that I cant get out of the car. The fuel usage is poor compared to my past experiences with other vehicles. I personally believe that all Dodge Intrepids are over priced. I wish that I had done my homework before making the purchase. Lesson learned.

Great Car - 2003 Dodge Intrepid
By Pink - March 10 - 2:00 amSo far I am really impressed with the overall vehicle. Comfort, power, roominess and so far no problems at all. The dealership has been great and I am proud to be a Dodge Owner. Needs more advertisement. In my opinon Dodge does not promote this vehicle. It is far superior to its competition.

Not too shabby - 2003 Dodge Intrepid
By LAmx - January 4 - 2:00 amThe style, power, comfort, power and power were outstanding. Did I mention the power? Having driven a smaller V6 without punch, this is a dream come true without it having an 8. (Hey Dodge, this would be a great choice to drop a hemi in!). Stealing from Deniro in Analyze That ... you could but three bodies in that trunk! The only complaints I have are 1) the cup holders are too small and 2) the CD player should have repeat.

Mixed Feelings - 2003 Dodge Intrepid
By VBop - September 3 - 2:00 amI love driving this car. . . when I can. Its roomy and a great drive. I liked it much better than the competing Bonneville. Looks great and cant say enough about the power. However, 3 days after buying, power steering fluid had all drained away. Fixed under warranty. Also within 1st 5 months: 1) A/C condenser & compressor replaced. 2) Power train computer replaced 3) Transmission pump replaced. Approx. 12 days in the shop. All covered by warranty but what a pain!

DODGE INTREPID LOYALIST - 2003 Dodge Intrepid
By Robert Jackson - August 11 - 2:00 amI have now leased my second Dodge Intrepid since late 1999. I was very pleased with the 2000 model, so I decided to lease a 2003 model which now the base model is the SE unlike 2000.
