The car Ive always wanted - 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
By Harry Lawrence - December 15 - 10:00 amThe Chevy Tahoe is a car that Ive always wanted since the revision of the car in 2000. I was able to purchase a used 2003 after being in service for only 10 months and with low milage. My wife and I absolutely love the Tahoe and it has been very dependable and lots of fun to drive. It is also very roomy and delivers fair gas milagae for such a large vehicle

2004 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 - 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
By Johnny - December 14 - 12:45 amI just bought this 2004 Z71 for $11k with 69.5K miles. I have only been drving it for a week and I love it. I hope to say that as time goes on. The ride is smooth and the roominess is very nice. My twins love the DVD player too. My Z71 came with 20" tires/rims and it still rides very nice. Stay tuned. I will come back and update my review in a couple of months.

My lake cruiser - 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
By J.R. - December 8 - 9:52 pmIm happy with my 2004 Z71 Tahoe after almost 5 years. Just turned 45k on the mileage & just replaced the original tires with Goodyear Silent Armor. The ride really smoothed out. Problems: Mileage is really awful. The black painted front grill pealed (think a rock chipped it). The tire pressure monitor went haywire (I got a tire gauge). Lastly I wish the driver seat was a little more firm. My wifes Honda Pilot seat is awesome. With that said I still love my Tahoe. The room, the height, the looks, the cushy ride. Its my highway cruiser that can off-road it if need be.

Z71 - 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
By dltunct - November 29 - 10:00 amI leased my Z71 about 2 months ago and absolutely love it. The ride is better than any othe SUV I have ever driven. At 55 on the highway I did average well over 20 MPG. As the speed goed up it does drop down below 20, but still better than my old Grand Cherokee.

Cannot stop "wind noise" - 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
By James L Kimbrell - October 17 - 10:00 amWe, as a family, love our 2002 Tahoe except for one very irritating thing. There is a wind noise on the drivers side that two dealers have not been able to stop. From about 60 miles an hour, the noise is so loud we can hardly hear a normal conversation.

Great Truck! - 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
By Amanda - October 13 - 12:48 amTruck is great, bought it a few months ago and have had several trips in it out of town. It does extremely well for a V8 with this size of truck, I was averaging 22mpg and made it from Panama City, FL to Tampa, FL on a little under 1/2 a tank (5hrs). The interior design is great, minus the extra holder space on top of the center console, you cant get into the console without moving things off that space. I love the extra power outlet in the back, as well as the Bose stereo system-has great sound. I live on a backroad that leads out to a 4 lane highway and I know that when I come to the stop sign, this truck definitely has the get up and go to scoot out into traffic when I hit the gas.

Get better mileage - 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
By Ann - October 6 - 2:03 pmWe just bought our Tahoe and I absolutely love it! I have to remember to take it out of all wheel drive when I first get in, so that Im not using to much fuel. In doing this, it takes me from 15.9 to.. the best so far is 20.6 mpg. But, the average is 19.7. Hope this helps someone. Not all of the 2004s Ive noticed are like mine. Mine has 3 buttons to the left of s/w. 4 Low, All wheel and the T/C. I hit the T/C before putting in gear, this is what helps with the MPG.

Chevy Tahoe LT - 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
By Sentinel - September 9 - 2:00 amI just bought the Tahoe LT and I quickly fell in love with it. It has a great interior and exterior design. The entertainment system is the highest in quality, and the comfortof the ride is impressive for an SUV. This vehicle has everything to make it a complete and luxurious SUV.
