  • Great car - 2002 Toyota Celica

I was undecided if I wanted the GT or the GT-S. I am glad I chose the GT... however, get the 5-speed. The automatic is too slow. If you plan on putting a lot of mods on the car, then get the GT-S. But the powerband on both cars under 6500rpms is almost identical. The car looks great, and is very fun to drive. Taking corners is extremely fun.

  • Celica GTS 2002 - 2002 Toyota Celica

This is a GREAT car, even though for the 2002 model they lowered the fuel cut off from 8300 to 7800, making the car about .7 seconds slower in the 1/4mile. a lot of people have been complaining about it to car & driver, and other reputable magazines.. hopefully toyota will recall all 2002s and update our ECUs. but overall this is a great car! but if you plan on forced induction you are better off with the GT model, the GTS has a 11.5 compression ratio, and thats way too high..

  • Exotic Looking Economy Car - 2002 Toyota Celica

Hello fellow car enthusiasts and I hope you are having a great day. My celica was one of the first to be made and I have had no maintainance problems. The car gets 36 MPG on the highway and handles very well. Calty Design Studios did a fantastic job on the styling. What we have here is an exotic looking car for the masses. There are two weaknesses. 1. The interior surfaces are hard plastic and scratch easily. 2. The paint is thin and chips easily.

This car is georgous... although its been around for 3 yrs now, the body is still beautiful!! It looks fast, drives fast (especially around the corners) and still get looks from other drivers. GT base engine is surprisingly fast, even with an automatic!!!

  • Fun to Drive - 2002 Toyota Celica

The Celica is a great car that handles really well in all areas, acceleration, braking, and handling. It gets great gas mileage and handles better than the rest of the sports coupes in this price range.

  • Need 4 wheel drive for inclement weather - 2002 Toyota Celica
    By -

I was excited getting the Celica GT- S. People stopped me to tell me what agreat looking car. Then it snowed. This car handles poorly in inclement weather. It just doesnt hold the road. Trouble keeping car in lane when road has worn pavement tracks. Bottoms out on high drives and catxhes cement stopping blocks in parking lots. Cup fly out of cup holders.
