Subaru completely redesigns the Impreza and brings a high-performance turbocharged WRX variant into the fold to offer enthusiasts the opportunity to drive a powerful, all-wheel-drive sport sedan without breaking the bank. All Imprezas benefit from improvements in performance, refinement and safety. Along with the Impreza's trip upmarket come revised trim levels consisting of two sedans (WRX and 2.5 RS) and three wagons (WRX, Outback Sport and 2.5 TS Sport Wagon). The coupe body style has been dropped.

• A stout 227 horsepower in the WRX, all-wheel drive, a variety of sedans and wagons to choose from.

• No more coupe, extroverted styling may be too much for some.

  Seems like there a lot of test drive reviews here, not owner reviews. Great balance of practically and fun (erroring on the fun side). Exactly, what I hoped. I just hope its reliable in long run.

  Redid the motor (cylinder slap), rear suspension, along with O2 sensor and to top it off the radio craps out. Wheel wells easily pack with snow and the tires go out of balance with a little dust.

  This is an incredible car. I have been driving this for 2 months and truely believe it has been one of the best cars i have ever owned. I am a huge Porsche fan and this is WRX drives just like one its a GT2s little brother.

  The Subaru WRX offers awesome acceleration and corners like its on freaking rails. Id purchase life insurance and make a will on the day you take delivery - this car inspires almost unrealistic confidence in my driving abilities - its that solid. Be sure to order the short throw shifter and the upgrades to the speakers and amp.

  This car is great. You cannot beat it with the price. Always wanted a sporty car that is not hard on the city bumps. Found it with this car. The looks is perfect coz it downplays the car yet fun to drive. And also its fun to drive or did I mention that already. Can leave 98% of cars on the road.

  Im really enjoying this vehicle. Ive owned it for over a year now and I still find it fun to drive. That says a lot given the number of cars Ive owned over the years and the fact that this is, as my title indicates, my third Subaru (My wife drives a 98 Forester and expects to for quite some time). The car is "peppy", comes with most of the "necessary" accessories and still elicits comments from strangers at the gas pumps. The recognized safety features cannot be overlooked. ...a recommended vehicle
